A shocking news article uncovers a PETA "slaughterhouse," a series of animal adoption homes that kills 95% of their furry residents. The articles gives disturbing numbers, stating that since 1998 over 21,339 dogs and cats have been killed at the hands of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Only seven of over 2,100 animals were placed in homes last year. The rest were killed:
