What i mean by a vehicle system, is fuel, passengers, hijack, keys for the vehicle etc. The base buggy system is east to abuse, it's near impossible to kill the player driving, he can go at endless speeds for any length he wants, you cannot kick a player out from the vehicle either.

Perhaps thats where the sitting animation is? lol

Hehe, I would suggest EngineMod.
While not the simplest thing on two wheels, it does get you there and adds some great roleplay qualities, including a usable Music Radio and some use for Gas Cans.
Plus it would add onto the Survivor Aspect abit, find interesting parts and pieces, sell em, somebody buys em all, and builds himself a car!
However, the Gas Cans need to have a limited amount of usage.

While your ideas are epic, I seriously doubt half this stuff will be possible in Zonescript Alpha. Script is way too buggy, easy to abuse, and kinda sucks. Unless...you guys recode the whole thing or something. Things like the NPC barkeeps and random stashes, do you honestly think Zonescript Alpha is capable of this? I honestly don't. All it is is a lemonade script edit.

Just wondering...
Would you be able to allow spawning the Artifact "props".
So we don't have to spend massive amounts of money buying the real things just to watch them be quickly nabbed by a fellow Loner?
And could the Ecologists get a Flamethrower, the unique weapon could be used in hazard situations, like when a Bloodsucker escapes from it's cell and is stealthing around the small base? Could add some good roleplay.

Lemonade script is cakescript at base, and that doesn't have any real limits, so yes it is indeed possible !

Alright, I'm working on the sounds now. This is gonna take a few days, because there are HUNDREDS if not maybe 1000 sounds. I'll only pick out ones that sound good. By the way this is only doing Clear Sky, doesn't even INCLUDE SOC.

A Serious Revise is Needed...


I just went through a short talk with Krieg, of how people are quitting to join InertiaRP's Stalker Script.
Honestly, I love the community, and gives me a new start to Roleplaying, but i don't want it to die to some long-going communitie's script because they just got it done right, I want to see this as the true way of roleplaying, actually tutoring people what to do, and giving them fun stuff to do in the meantime. Take theese words gravely, as they could be the last before a mass population exodus to Inertia's community...

Several of the problems underlined are namely; Veteran Stalkers, and a large lack of Loners.

What I suggest is revising the Veteran flag, and turning it into "Experienced Stalker".
Basically all you get is a Pistol, a Flashlight, and 20-30 armor, and you keep your current playermodel. Thus encouraging you to do missions, and lowering the "omg epic pewpew gits" count.
And hopefully balance the teams abit.
Plus would it be possible to make a "stash" sent? basically an indestructable wooden box which spawns random foodstuffs, ammo and such every 10 minutes.
Also; give people a reason to RP with Artifacts, do you honestly know what you've got in your hand? Take it to a new sent dubbed the "analyzer" which is Eco-only, and it reveals the name of the arti and it's use.

And no, I haven't been on the server yet, so scratch any of the stuff suggested above if it's been done.

These are all really great ideas! This is what Hybrid wanted to do, but it never happened. Would be freaking amazing if the scripters accomplished this

Oaky, let's set down the current problems with the new flags.

Ecologists:
They spawn with the Veteran Stalker model, and are equipped with a Kabar, Deagle, and AK.
Remove all weapons from them except the Flashlight, and make them spawn with the Ecologist Hooded Suit.

Monolith:
Playermodel's Fine. Just the weapons need a tweak.
Consider a unique Melee weapon for them, and give them the usual LR3000/Fort12 loadout, instead of the AK and Deagle.

Besides those two hiccups, everythings all good!

All takes time to do MattyK, and Interiarp is nothing to be honest, the map is small, the script is rushed and theres a awful set of admins hint Starce3 hint, i wouldn't worry about it, what we having on, is epic.

I only laid out the basic factions, it's not all done yet you know, i like the idea of only giving a pistol to the Vets.

It'd be cool if we could get mutants on the server.

Downside is, people say they lag..I never get lag from NPC's, but maybe someone could get it so they dont lag?

Anyways, again, NPC's would be cool to make the Zone a bit scarier.

I can get the base PDA (as in the SOC on, from the PDA thread... that i provided) and make it into PSD format then one of the scripts can tell me the needed file format (I think its TGA, but i don't know), i can do that and send it to them. And you have a PDA, Also, i think there should be different PDA versions, like the SoC one could be, like Vet stalker, have a different one (or green one) for freedom, red for Duty, and other stuff that would SHOW That they were that Faction.

Also a looting system would be helpful for some RP aspects... but if you get a gun, you Dm someone... get all their things... dm more... and it continues. But i think to solve this, you could just limit the Looting to PDA (when added) and read about their stashes, deals, and general info. This would also start a Faction War, and would form for of a alliance with some faction, and a hatred of others. Say DUTY was planing a raid, they would pay a stalker, to find a (alone) Freedom member, kill them take their PDA and sell info. Giving away some aspects of their base... or fill in Zones of the map that they wouldn't have

Another idea im gunna suggest is a "Limb Damage System" and "Bleeding/Severity of a Wound" So if you get shot in the leg, you wont sprint away yelling "0mGGG wTf guiez! I dunnnt gotz pew pewz!!!!111!!!1ONE". Would make kindnapping for Bandits much more fun (^.^) Shoot them in the leg, and threaten to kill them if they dont give them all their money, so such forth.

Im thinking of thinks as i am going. The Stash idea would be cool, and some sort of Faction storage system, so you dont mearly SPAWN with a gun, instead you must go get a gun if you know what i mean... well im gunna go RP some in game now, Think over my propositions/ideas, they sounded good when i thought of them...

Also admins should have Tophats... random But yet awesome thought :euro: :euro: :euro:

The mutant snpcs are easy to make T_T Just edit the running zombies to use hit animation "swing" and set animation speed to 60. oh yeah and ofcourse the model.

Poltergeists
I mentioned this in Vent, but am now explaining it in detail.
As scary as the Bloodsucker is, it's effect wears off after a few days.
What I wish to do is revolutionise scaring, on a new standard, by using the Poltergeist, I can make people fel Fear, ingame, and hopefully make them truly shit bricks.
But ofcourse, we need the model first, and I doubt it has any walking animations,

We already have most of the sweps(Knife, Black magic, etc.) but I'll need one more, a "hands" type swep that has the same togglable shield as the Sodan Cloak from Stargatemod, but it increases your armor by 500, and leaves yourself looking like a small blue-ish glow.

Hopefully in conjunction with the sound emitters, I can create a new level of ambient scariness.
