Quote from: Aceon General Rules 1 - No Griefing;
The world Griefing used here includes but is not limited to: Filling stuff with liquids, placing blocks where they shouldn't be or in someone else's construction site, burning something down that isn't yours, killing people for no reason, killing people randomly, destroying something that isn't yours via axe pick hoe shovel hand and so on. A person who participates in Griefing is called a "Griefer"1
Possible Punishment: Anywhere from a temporary to a permenant ban depending on severity. Also de-whitelisted.

2 - Stay In Character; Aceon has a local chat mod that makes it so only people who are nearby you can hear what you say. Use /me for OOC chat for now
Punishment: Warning, Kick, then Temporary ban unless perceived as "Trolling"2 or "Griefing"
3 - Do not mix Genres!
                          Aceon is a MEDIEVAL RP SERVER; Meaning? No lasers and no goddamn jetpacks.
                          Genres like steampunk and other things reasonably close, technologically, are acceptable.
                          There are no machine guns here.
Possible Punishment: Warning, Kick, then Temporary ban unless perceived as "Trolling"2 or "Griefing"
4 - Don't build floating castles! Castles in the sky are bad. They are no-nos. Only mages3 can have floating castles. This applies to ALL floating buildings. Not just castles.
Possible Punishment: Your castle will be destroyed. Possibly a temp. ban if repeat offender.
* - Refer to HGN Standard Rules for a more extensive list of behavioral and meta-dictated rules.

1 -Griefers - Differ from typical players in that they do not play the game in order to achieve objectives defined by the game world. Instead, they seek to harass other players, causing grief. In particular, they may use tools such as stalking, hurling insults, and exploiting unintended game mechanics.
2 - Trolling - A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion
3 - Last I checked, mages had to be Approved

Quote from: Guild Creation, Management and Advancement

There are five types of Guild in the City of Guilds. The group advancement tree is as follows:

1) Duo - Minimum of Two Members; Minimum Coffer Amount of 0 Folleri
2) Fraternity - Minimum of Three Members; Minimum Coffer Amount of 45 Folleri
3) Gang/Union - Minimum of Four Members; Minimum Coffer Amount of 100 Folleri
4) Fellowship - Minimum of Six Members; Minimum Coffer Amount of 250 Folleri
5) Guild - Minimum of Seven Members; Minimum Coffer Amount of 500 Folleri

Guilds may skip tiers if they meet the proper requirements.

Every week (Real Week) the Government is entitled to collect a Guild Tax. This Guild Tax is equal to the equation below:

(2X)/5 + Z(Y/10) = Tax

Where
X = Number of Members
Y = Amount of Land Claimed
Z = Tier of your Guild

The Tax does not HAVE to be collected but the Government is encouraged to do so.

In Order to Maintain A Guild

Guilds must keep a Coffer, meaning a Guild Financial Account, which is used to deal in the Guild's Finance.

Each Guild must assign a Treasurer who tracks deposits and withdrawals from the Guild Coffers.

Any Guild that does not have a Treasurer will have their assets seized.

Requirements to Start a Duo/Guild

1. Have two willing members, including you.
2. Have a designated leader.
3. Pay the 100 Folleri Guild Creation Fee. (50% of this will be refunded to your Guild.)
4. Create a Forum Thread as formerly defined in the
Guild Thread Creation Guidelines

Guild Halls

Refer to the Aceon, Age of Nations thread for information on this topic.

Quote from: Currency, Taxation and Payments

Currency

The Currency of the City of Guilds is called the Folleri.
The Folleri is a silver, stamped round.
On the obverse, a legendary figure can be seen riding a dragon into battle in the shadow of a grand nimbus.
On the reverse, the coin is printed with the Royal Crest, the King's Crown and the words "Pro Dio et Patria"

Taxation

There are no inherent taxes present in the Aceon economy, with the exception of guild Taxes, but the Government is completely allowed to enforce, introduce or otherwise create Taxes of any type for any reason.

Wages

There is no minimum nor recommended wage in Aceon. If you get a job, in-game, make sure you're aware of how much you are being paid.

Starting Balances

Every citizen enters the City of Guilds with 30 Folleri. This amount will not increase, will not be replenished automatically and cannot be refunded in any way. This money can be used to obtain goods, invested, given away or donated to a good cause. There is no limit to what you can do with your Folleri.

[spoiler=Sieging, Claiming and The Big Ass Map]

Sieging - A District is under siege when the majority controller of the district is being threatened by a minority controller. Sieges are to be played out as battles where at least three members of each guild battle a team of the same size/number in an unarmed scuffle (NO ONE SHOULD DIE). The victor of this scuffle is allowed to decrease the losing faction's grip on the territory by claiming at least two chunks of their influence.

The recommended but not required way to determine the Siege Value is to base it on the number of enemies incapacitated, versus the number of allies incapacitated.

((X/Z)-(Y/V)) = Siege Value

V = Total Enemies
X = Concious Allies
Y = Concious Enemies
Z = Total Allies

Example - In a 5v5 fight, if your team defeats Team B, and only one member on your team becomes incapacitated, the opposing faction would lose 80% of their influence in the region.

Claiming - Claiming is handled like usual.

The Big Ass Map - A Big Ass Map will be maintained in a central region of the City. This map can be used to observe District Control between the guilds without actively scouting. The City will be divided into 27 districts, including the Governmental and Public Districts.

How am I supposed to look at the rules now?
By reading the Age of Nations one which I assume currently applies still.

I meant these, I wanted to read them since I already know the others.

These are rules for the new map and the new system, which you aren't supposed to look at yet because they aren't done.  We are still on the old system, use those rules.
"If you don't expect gratitude, you'll seldom be dissapointed."

These rules are not currently applicable for the present Aceon setting.
