Garry's Mod won't launch!

Whenever I try to launch Garry's mod, it says it's validating. When the validation ends (which only takes a second) it closes. I try to start the game, but it keeps doing the exact same thing. Anyone got some ideas?

Just reinstall it, restart ur comp, and try again.
