Character's Name: Solus Bleak
Villain Type: MMV (WOOOT ME BE THEIFY)

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Backstory: ( 3 Paragraphs AT LEAST )
There was a spirit of unrest in the great city of Gethaldryn. The had been on lockdown for a week and, everyone was ordered to stay inside. The deep souding alarm bells could be heard all over the city but, besides the sounding of gaurdsmen marching, that was it. At the palace, the High Preistess was standing on her elevated balcony shouting orders at gaurds below. Someone had broken into the Palace archives and stolen some very important scrolls. She had expected them to be well out of her borders by now but, she would do anything to get them back. She ordered the soliders to  thoroughly search every building and, report after each sweep.
The theif, a Drow named Solmus Bleak, was planning on this reaction. He knew that the Preistess would stop at nothing to perserve the secrets of these scrolls. He also knew, that she would know it was him who took it. Solmus knew she would order a search and, he knew that the palace would have less security because of that. The scrolls were bait and, the Preistess was falling right into the trap. The plan was to steal the scrolls, wait for the Preistess to order a search, then strike the treasury while it was least protected. It was Solmus's perfect heist, it had to work. First, Solmus hide the scrolls where noone would search, in the archives. Then, He went to a storehouse near the Palace and, waited for the search to begin. After a few days the area he was hiding in had been cleared and, the search continued in other districts. It was time to hit the treasury.
The palace was near empty, so Solmus had no problem getting inside. He had scaled the outer wall, eliminating the gaurd, and, entered through a side entrance near the main hall. Crossing the main hall, he walked softly as not to alert the gaurds just outside. Solmus proceeded up some steps, through a long hallway that contained staff quaters, and right up to the Preistess's door. He listened for any sign of life on the other side and, after a bit he opened the door. The room was large and, finely furnished. It was the last room he had to cross to get to the treasury, he was so close.
He walked to the large vault door, and knelt to examine the lock. Solmus had been in this very room a month earlier cracking this very lock, he would have claimed his prize then if he hadn't know about the binding spell. All pf the Preistess's treasure was enchanted with a binding spell that kept it inside the vault and, Solmus had to search for a full month to find a suitable cancelation spell.
He reached for the lock, a large, intricate, puzzle-like depiction of the coronation of the Preistess. He reached over, first pressing in the sun, an odd addition to the mural seeing as Gethaldryn is an underground city. Then, he presses on the moon, then the head dress being placed on the Preistess's head, then on the spider at her side. The door sat silent for a moment, then it creaked open revealing a large pile of golden items and, rows of artifacts resting on pedestals. He ran over to the pile of gold and, swept a large amount into a bag. When it was full he stood, he seemed to be searching for something. Solmus surveyed the room trying to remember where some thing was. He examined the pedestals as he walked past, then he saw it. A small golden head dress, encrusted with jewels. He quickly swept it into his bag and, started towards the door. He stopped just short of the door and, whispered the cancelation spell saying,"Nor-Dagnir Loth-Sereg." Then, Solmus walked out of the vault and, back out of the Preistess's private quarters.
When he came to the throne room, He found that its was now occupied by the High Preistess and a few gaurds. She was sitting on her throne with the gaurds standing around her and, None of them had noticed Solmus. Solmus would have slipped away and, made his fortunes selling the head dress but, If there was one thing Solmus Bleak Lord of Theives was without doubt, it was a braggart. He couldn't leave yet, not before he rubbed his victory in. So, Solmus stepped out from the side corridor into the throne room and, addressing the Preistess said, "Hello, I beleive you know me. My name is Solmus Bleak and, I think these are yours." He held up the bag and, the Preistess sat aghast. He turned to leave as the Preistess yelled,"Arrest that man!" Then, Solmus ran through the streets, avoiding patrols, right up to the main gate. He had arranged for a band of mercenarys to open the gate. All he had to do was run through it.
He ran out of the gate and, up the long tunnel leading to the surface. He fled to a nearby port and, bought passage to a nearby continent of Soldaria. He wandered for a long while before he ended up at the Thorn. He decided that since noone in this land knew him, it was a perfect place to don the guise of Theif Lord once more. So he did.

Notes: Sorry if its horrible, I'm not very skilled in the art of the backstory. Also, When I get BR I intend on building a boarding house in ThornTown and, Establishing a theives guild.
EDIT: fixed the indents. accidently deleted a sentence in the first paragraph but, its there now.
ADDITION: Forgot to mention that he will probably be dressed like a harlequin/jester. Yes, I know that thats been done on games before but, I care not. He is also probably human.

Character's Name: Revion Draanon

Villain Type: Dark Lord
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Backstory: (3 Paragraphs AT LEAST)

Growing up, Revion was an orphan and with his free time he practiced magic. Growing up he was bullied by the unintelligent kids that were stronger and wanted to be warriors when they grew up. Revion was a odd young man, when others were outside playing, he was inside learning about and practicing magic. At the age of 5 he was able to do simple magic such as fireballs and combust objects like wood. He was adopted by a nobleman family at the age of 6 and was the runt of the liter and beaten by the parents for staying inside and studying all the time, for they did not know what he was studying.

A few months after turning 6 he was called "hopeless" or was bullied physically, still. He was able to fight back, but he didn't because he was a passive at that age. His mood started to become more somber and he began to turn anti-social because of how his studying kept him away from others so he didn't know how to talk or react to them during conversations. As strange as it was, Revion was nice, even to those that bullied him and even his parents. His parents owned a bank with 100s of diamonds inside the vault. Once a week he'd take up to 5 diamonds and make them his own so that he could have money and for revenge.

3 and a half years later, Revion was enrolled in Thorn. His parents were hoping that Thorn would teach him to be more self-sufficient and learn to defend himself from the bullies that were by now, novice swordsman. He started to become curious about the black arts, such as magic of Necromancers and Blood Mages. He was particulary interested in Necromancy. While at Thorn he met many kids who preferred magic over melee, so he felt like he fit in. In classes that were about science and magic, he excelled. But when it came to classes such as history, he struggled because he wasn't interested in history and did not want to learn about Ermor or the old Druchii commune.

One night while he was at the library, he broke into the magic repository to find a book on Necromancy, and he did successfully. He began to shy away from spells that involved fire, water, or any other things of nature. He also started to practice and study in the dark with only one light source so that he could read the book of Necromancy. Sometimes when he practiced, he would try and delve into living creatures minds so that he can know what people will do before they even do it. During history class he practiced reading minds on humans such as Charles who was thinking of this girl named Kizua Leloth all the time.

One day he heard and felt yelling, the floor shaking, and a giant boom nearly half an hour after the yelling. He went towards the commotion, but he failed trying to get to the center of it due to tons of rocks and rubble blocking the stairs. After about 10 minutes he decided to go back home and eat his dinner, which he was happy that it was steak. After dinner he decided to practice his mind reading skill and turn it into a weapon, to hurt people mentally. He failed miserably, but he didn't stop trying until he was caught staring at Charles, his test subject without him knowing it. One day, one of his close friends, Thomas Berad, died after trying to escape those primative "Rebels of Elidin". He went into a depression where he wanted more...More magic knowledge so that he could make anyone and everyone that was involved in the death of Thomas to pay.

He may have hated nearly everyone, but he still decided to talk and reply to them. A new professor was hired for biology class, as much as the man irritated him sometimes, he still liked the old man. One day while Revion was walking in the forest, he found an old man who of which decided, for no reason, to train the young man, Revion, if he wanted to know more about the dark arts of Necromancy. From there he was taught and he still lives in Thorn to this day. He is planning, planning on the demise of those who do and don't deserve their ending. He will show them one day, he just needs to study and wait for the right moment to strike. One day Revion was gone, some think he is locked in his house doing something that of which no one will forgive him for doing. But no one knows that he is truely in the Nether training and being an ally with the Ghast and zombie pigmen. But they do know that something evil and dark is happening in that little house of his, and they are scared to find out what. All they know is that they can feel a dark, gloomy force is sucking away at them, removing all happiness that they have when they are near it...

I know this backstory isn't that great, but I wanted to try so that I can work with Beano.

Journal excerpts from Lin Scyth.

Journal Entry #443

It worked. Grandfather was killed, right on the spot! No one was ever the wiser. I played my part, crying, weeping, and reminiscing of days we spent together. They were all fooled. A pity I have to share the clocktower with Wily. He is ever so curious, always asking questioning, and tinkering with those machines of his. Edlios says Wily won't find out that I killed Grandfather. No one will ever find out then, since Wily was the only person I thought would suspect me. We won't be due for getting the clocktower until the beginning of May. I write this in March. Only a few more months until my new home. It's exciting, really. I've never been in the clocktower. Grandfather always came to my apartment. I hope it's pretty. If it's not, that is just another thing I will be have to spend money on. Just like the building I was planning before.

Journal Entry #456

Mother has written me back today. She seems content with her apartment in Caleot. She enjoys the view of the Royal Gardens, and the fragrances that are emitted from them every spring. She asked of how Wily and I were doing, but not of Father. I was very put off by this, but familial matters are of the least importance to me. As the inside of the clocktower is being furnished, I cannot help but wonder where Grandfather lived. The rooms were all bare. A shame Grandmother is no longer alive. A shame. But, I must not worry of that either.
Everything is coming together. The Gods are content with my plan, and that is all I could ask for. Wily has been questioning who I talk to when I talk to them. I never respond, and never plan to. It is none of his business. If he ever found out, he'd think I was mad. Madder than he already thinks I am. He's wrong, though. I'm not. But, he can think what he wants. Wily is silly, as they say.
In other news, people seem drawn to the clocktower by an unknown force. I am becoming very friendly with many of this city. Videll believes I should use a more feminine charm. I think I will begin to. The more people that come to the clocktower means that there are more people to convert. It's delicious, it's perfect! Wily isn't any the wiser. Everything is perfect. Nothing could spoil this. I do, though, have to be more careful. All those that I give missions to, must wear masks. I cannot be tied to them. It would look very bad, very bad.  Edlios tells me to use more caution. I will. There will be no more fighting in the clocktower. And, I must get Connor to tell the news of his latest assignments.
For now, though, I must rest. The day has been tiring. Perhaps I will write again tomorrow, if anything occurs.
