A creepy old man approaches you on the street and tries to sell you an enchanted scroll.  What is your reaction?(RP It.): Rockele walks fast and weary out of a shopping storeknowing that this part of the city is high in crime at night. as she rounds a corner on a busy street, she bumbs into this creepy old man with baggy eyes and rotten yellow teeth. with a yelp, she jumps backward and cowers. the old man says with his yellow toothy grin "im sorry my lady, im just in a hurry." "what for?" Rockele asks picking her self off the ground with new intrest. Rockele being a person of great curiosity was captivated. the old man replys "i just got modest pay of 1 platuim and 2 silver from a kind man. I sold him one of my enchanted scrolls" "Hmm" Rockele questioned what the scrolls enchantment was.......Soon her intrest got to the better of her. "ill take one." she said "but before i pay i want to see what it does, and make it quick i have a friend waiting on me and im already late." the old man smiled that creepy yellow grin the sent shivers up Rockele's spine. Then, in a flash, a rope sprung out of the scroll tieing her up. As she was gagged and put in a carrying bag all she could think was, "great, now Raze will be waiting forever and not know what happend to me." Rockele decided for the 10,000 time not the let her curiosity get to the btter of her as she was carried away into the night.

I didnt pass my final mages exam and it shows at that moment when I accidentally shoot a fireball at the old man burning him to cinders and sending myself flying. I pull my self off the ground and look at the burning mess. well thats another town I wont be allowed into.

Walking along the cobblestone floor, I notice a dark alley with a man standing in it. He motions for me to come to him and as i walk he pulls out a dimly lit scroll. I can see that there is a powerful enchantment on it for it is emitting a dim light and has a small hum to it. The closer i walk to him, the more i started to feel power rise around the area. Pressure was being pressed onto my body as a grin began to take place on the old mans face, i realized that it was the scroll of soul siphon, i tried to call out for help but it was too late. I was caught in his trap and the world was becoming black. I became unconscious as the man started to laugh crazily. I awoke in the room of an inn seeing a dazzling young maiden wielding a bow and a sword. She spoke but i could not understand, I soon fell asleep. I awoke the next day feeling quite refreshed and this time seeing a wizard and the young maiden watching me. They spoke and I understood what they were saying. The ranger had saved me as she saw what had happened. They asked me if I was up to for an adventure, and I saw the door opening to my adventure.

The Old man starts to tell him about how thsi scroll he has is enchanted, but White Haven, having heard this line before laughs and turns to walk away but the the Old man says it is one of the "Scrolls of Time". White Haven freezes in his tracks as his worst fears come to life.

White Haven turns on the and garbing him by the front of shirt pulls him close and whispers venomously into his ear, "Where in hell did you get that scroll? Lie to me and i will kill you where you stand."

Old man, "Please good sir i just found it in my travels."

Old man, "ok ok  i found it on a dead man out in the middle the dessert. Why is it so important anyways, the Scrolls of Time are just myths."

On some side notes:
I'm currently a moderator on a site, ex-admin/mod of several servers between Terraria, GMod, and Maplestory.
I have never lost moderator from abuse, the most reason was inactivity, as that is a problem I get sometimes.
Aswell, I help however I can, whenever I can. And can stay in character most of the time.
Excellent choice of music on the lore.
And, I hope I get to see you all in-game. I'm not usually this "professional", its an application, may as well go the whole length for it.

Edit: I won't change what I've put, but I felt like I should mention I am used to Visual RPing, so I tend to RP in the moment, not set the mental scene. Hence why I didn't do what some of the others did. Hope that is ok, considering the situation of it being a Visual one.

I curiously follow him down an alley and see him talk to a strange beast.

I watched the old man burn to crisps, then the beast swallowed his soul.

A creepy old man approaches you on the street and tries to sell you an enchanted scroll.  What is your reaction?(RP It.): *observers the scroll closely* Well that is quite interesting but I'm a little short on coin at the moment, have a nice day though. (Real reason for not buying is because it looks as if the scroll has been cursed and the old man just wants to pass it on to someone else.)

Old man: Oh, young man come back for a second will you?


Me: Is there a problem?


Old man: Ooh, wont you help this old man back to his home? *grabs my wrist, clenching it hard!*


Me: Get off of me, now! Guards!


Old man: Listen now, I've been cursed with the damned scroll for nearly a decade, I think it's time *pushes scroll into my hand* SOMEONE ELSE HAS IT!


*I feel odd, I see darkness surround me, colours distorted, the world around me shifting before my very eyes. I drop the scroll immediately* *the old man runs off into a dark passage, beside the tavern.*


Guard: Are you alright? What happened?


Me: Yes I'm fine, something strange just happened...


Guard: Hmm, well you better get some rest, do you live around here stranger?


Me: No, I hail from Resbin..


Guard: Ah, well you better rest up in the tavern over there.


Me: Thank you.


*I observe my coin pouch, only to find it nearly empty, with some gold scattered on the floor*

Why would you like to join our server: Well, I'll put it simple. Terraria is boring in single player, or atleast to me. I've never tried out multiplayer before, and roleplaying on Terraria makes it sound fun, which would be something I would never miss out on.

Lucan Vorielius simply minds his business, leaning up against a small, old shack.

An old man in a sorcerer's robe then approaches Lucan, with a tattered, yellow-ish scroll in his hand.

The old man then asks, "..Care to take this off my hands, young man?"

Lucan responds with a grumpy, "No, go away."

The old man tucks the scroll away, hesitating for a moment.

He then reveals two silver daggers from under his robes, pushing them against Lucan's neck, speaking, "You don't treat your elders like that now, do you?"

Lucan then threw a fist up at the old man's jaw, kicking him back as he was slightly stunned.

Lucan had then ran off into the tall grass, as fast as he possibly could.

Matter stares at the old man standing before him trying to sell him a "enchanted scroll" that was obviously a fake scribbled on some torn parchment.
"Come on mister it'll only cost you 3 silver pieces for this rare opportunity." Declares the feeble old man.
Matter just calmly reaches for his coin purse pulls out 3 gold pieces and hands them to the old man. Before the man can utter a word Matter walks off into the night without even a second thought.
