Sand-proof Goggles (Steampunk Goggles)
Wraps for hot weather (Lamia Wraps)

Items:
Various Potions for effect (Flippers, Gills, Invisibility, etc)
Binoculars: Because hunting, but of what is the question.
Magic Mirror: Everyone should have one, for quality of life.
Tendon Hook: Keeps with the meat/bone theme and allows for building and hiding in high places.

Accessories:
Master Ninja Gear: Dash, climbing, and dodging- A perfect snake accessory.
Obsidian Water Walking Boots: Sprinting across the water to represent how fast a snake can swim. And scales protect from heat.
Frostspark Boots: Moving like a god damn demon out of hell, as a snake should be able.
Shiny Stone: Regeneration is a godsend.
Yellow Horseshoe Balloon: Snake jumping power combined with the powers of the desert!
Magic Quiver: Really good for a hunter, and not buying arrows as often is nice.

Restrictions
Weapons:
Magic stuff is just out without proper teaching. He's more likely to make a water staff explode than make it spew water.

Armor:
Heavy stuff! He's lots of muscle but heavy stuff is really restrictive and basically cements him in place because of his tail.

Items:
Magic items again. Anything that's not straight forwards like 'drink the potion' is basically out without someone telling him how.

Specials/Abilities
Venom (Racial): Small fangs are capable of applying a venom to anything he bites as well as his(or others) melee weapons.
Traverse [Ranger/Gunner] 'Move easily in rough terrain. Cannot be sloweed.' {passive}
Track [Ranger/Gunner] 'Easily track down a person or creature.' {passive}
Instinct [Ranger] 'Cannot be sneak-attacked.' {passive}
Stealth [Rogue] '+10 to sneak/hide rolls.' {passive}
Dodge [Anyone] '+10 to dodge rolls because of being a speedy class. Block is unaffected.' {passive}

Flaws:
Monster: Literally half man half snake. Raised underground and with specific racial prejudices, also raised without a formal education.
Magically Dumb: Exposed to magic only by desert djin who were the hated clan of his people. Not incapable just untrained and untrusting.
God Damn Big: More than twenty feet from head to tail tip. Being in small places is a huge detriment and most common items are not designed for his size.

Traits:
Dumb Smart: Simply not educated well. Instincts and Common knowledge and powerful in his mind and is quite capable of picking up many things if he can get the proper training.
Slippery: Not literally, but like a snake he is a massive tube of powerful muscle and quite capable of squirming his way out of most situations.
Deadly: Instinct, training, and how he was raised has turned him into a fine tuned hunter. However at times he can react without thinking to unexpected stimuli, this has saved his life and risked others many times.
