I am proud to announce we are actively working on bringing S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay back to HGN. It's been close to 7 years since we last hosted the server and yet we still have a dedicated following for our server.

Silverknight, Pictowolf, Lexo are actively working on the server, bringing the very best of S.T.A.L.K.E.R and roleplay into 2020. We hope that you will soon join us once we release the servers.

( Servers? ) - Yes, unlike before we are going to have multiple servers, trying to provide a real zone environment, players will be able to travel from the Cordon to the chernobyl power plant and back, facing mutants, radiation, toxic areas, zombified stalkers, player factions, anomalies and more.

We're going for a hardcore roleplay approach this time around, with many of the RPG features originally in the game. Stay tuned for more.

A look into the item customisation system that we have in place to make the experience better and allow players to design their character how they want.

A small peak into the Anomaly system we have in place. Semi randomised anomaly spawning. Semi in terms of it randomly selects from a large table of locations(places excluding spawns etc).
This will aid in the need for detectors and add more risk to the world without relying on an admin to place anomalies around the map.

Please post intelligently, and make a good case for yourself. If you are denied, and not unbanned, please take it with grace. Making a scene and posting a bunch of insults and cringe will not help you. It will do the opposite.

Here are the list of rules for the Aceon Reborn Roleplay Server. Learn them, follow them, love them. By playing on the server you automatically consent to playing by and following these rules. If you don't follow them you will probably wind up in the second part to this thread, posting to repeal your ban. Ban times range from hours, to forever, based on what rules you break, the severity in which you break them, and what the admin who banned you thinks is appropriate. You only get so many chances, so please, read these rules:

1. Don't grief other people. Do not steal from them, do not destroy their property. If you are caught doing any of this without the other player's express permission, there will instantly be extremely harsh consequences.

2. Don't use exploits. If you are caught using glitches or exploits you will face immediate and extreme censure.

3. No ERP (erotic roleplay) or NSFW (not safe for work) behaviour. Please do not roleplay having sex or any other kind of sexual behaviour while on the server, or on the forums. Also, do not post any NSWF material on the forums. This is an HGN rule as well, so breaking this rule here could get you banned not just from Aceon, but also HGN as a whole. Do not make your character overly sexualized, do not describe their body or other characteristics in a sexual way.

4. Don't be a weirdo. If you act like a weirdo we will give you a warning, and reserve the right to tell you to stop. If you do not, you may face a ban. This includes but is not limited to unsolicited and inappropriate remarks, harassing other players for any reason, and more (up to the admin's discretion).

5. Do not abuse land claiming. If you are given the ability to claim land for your own personal area, your faction, or any other reason, do not abuse this power. Claiming land is primarily to protect your personal property. It is not to be used to deny other people things, such as claiming an ore vein or other resources. It is also not to be used to claim other people's properties. Also, if you have the ability to claim land, but do it improperly and someone steals from you, depending on what is stolen and the circumstances (you may be suspected of just wanting more resources), you may not get the items back if they need to be spawned in by an admin.

6. Contest bans in the appropriate place, and the admin's word is final. While someone accusing you of breaking the rules is annoying, frustrating, and anxiety provoking, do not take it out on them or the admins on the server, in private messages, or in random places on the forums. If you are caught doing something, do not rage at the admin, swear, or act inappropriately. Do not mock the admin, and make sure you comply with warnings. All of this will be remembered, and punishments will be increased if nessasary. Take it all like a champ, and post down below in the Ban Appealing section, and it will all be worked out.

7. Build with realism, and build nicely. Don't make flying structures, bridges with no supports, single block towers, huge flat planes, etc. If it couldn't exist in real life, if it would realistically fall down or fall apart, it will with the help of an admin when they remove it. Also, build nicely. A minimum amount of effort is required to go into your home, business, property, etc. This is mandatory. I have a friend who says: "If your build looks like poop, it will be flushed." This is not a joke, it will happen, you will be forced to start over, and you may even have your Building Rights revoked pending a new application.

8. PvP and Robbery. While it is acceptable to fight with another player, and even rob people if you are allowed to play as a bandit, or something happens through the course of roleplay, DO NOT FORCE THIS ON OTHER PEOPLE. PvP must be between two people who consent to it. Also, don't camp spawns or kill and rob new players, that is just wrong and you will be punished severely. If other factions grow large enough, and agree to it, wars can be declared for territory and resources.

9. Do not mix genres. Aceon is a MEDIEVAL RP SERVER; meaning? No lasers and no jetpacks. Genres like steampunk are reasonably close right now, with gunpowder weapons technically in the lore. There are machine guns or flying machines here.

10. Stay in character! There are two chats, local and global chat, for a reason. Local chat is used to roleplay with people around you, global chat is used for out of character conversations. While in local chat, stay in character! This is a roleplay server. Also, do not flood either chat channel with spam.

11. New rules can be implemented at any time, please stay up to date with this thread.

To make sure that people have read the rules we have added a passphrase which can be found on the server itself. Please let an admin know when you have read them.
