Medical Roleplay Guide
In-Depth.
Summary - SHIELD's primary directive delivering medical attention to other units, they focus primarily on medical training. The ammount of how much they know is determined by rank.
Roleplaying a SHIELD medical unit - SHIELD's roleplay is heavily focused around the roll system. For
SHIELD the lower the roll the better, each units rank determines what his rolls do, EX: a Officer and up will roll 1-60 for no incident, as to where an 05 must roll 1-20 for no incident.
Testing - For a SHIELD medical unit to rank up they are allowed to take a test every 3 days, if they fail they must wait a week.
Units are tested on what they know by their rank. Each rank has different knowledge on what to do and will be tested accordingly.

Rank Descriptions
SHIELD is divided into 3 sections.
1) Field Medics.
2) Surgeons.
3) Commanding staff.

Field Medics - Range from the ranks of 05-03, they are generally in the field accompied by other units or assisting NOVA when needed. They are taught on how to act quickly, and how to stabalize.
Rolls for 05-03
1-20 No incident
21-40 For minor incident
41-60 Mediocer incident
61-90 Major incident
91-100 Death.

Surgeons - Range from the ranks of 02-01, but these ranks will have the option to stay Field Medics with Surgeon knowledge. They are mostly inside or stationed at checkpoints. Their knowledge is vast.
Rolls for 02-01
1-40 No incident
41-60 Minor incident
61-70 Mediocer incident
71-95 Major incident
96-100 Death.

Division Command - They make up the head of SHIELD and give out the test to the units for them to rank up. They know just about everything, and can fix most things wrong with a unit.
Rolls for OfC - DvL.
1-60 No incident
61-75 Minor incident
76-85 Mediocer incident
86-99 Major incident
100 Death.
More In depth on rolls  - In SHIELD you roll for everything in a medical procedure, Serverity, puncture, artieries, and so forth. Here is a RP example
EX:90142 looks into the gunshot wound.
   90142 rolls an 86
   *4 artieries are hit and the bullet did not go through*
Everytime you try to do something to a patient you must roll, and depending on what you roll will go with your roll chart, and then you procede to choose what happened accordingly. Your patient must also roll every five minutes, if he rolls a 100 he dies. Keep all of this in mind, and you should be a effective SHIELD unit. Make sure to look below for your equipment.

There are TWO projects already barely getting worked on as it is and those are semi-original. There are a billion HL2RP servers up and attempts at HL2 RP have ended...poorly for HGN. I don't think anyone wants HL2RP because it tends to be very, very boring. Citizens can't do anything at all except get oppressed and rebels and CPs just gets old after a while/turns into DMing. Crussaria and FO both offer much more RP potential.

Paintcheck you just think it's boring because You can NOT passive, it requires you to actually RP, not just come up with false theories to make something you want sound better.

I said in my post "Rebels vs CPs turns into DM invariably" would seem to imply that I dislike constant gunbattles. In 2 years of time on this server I can count the number of people I have ever killed on the fingers of 1 hand.

It's Civil Protection, not metropolice force.

Also; HL2RP is currently unnecessary project for HGN. That's something we should try after we finish with Crussaria, Fallout RP and ultimately Stalker RP.

If theres high demand for it then we could do it. It does not require much development if any at all. But it has to be done right and has to have that "spark" which makes people want to play over the other hundred hl2rp servers.

The problem being, there's next to no support (Other than Sharrock, to my knowledge.)
Fallout 3 has a lot of Community support and gets no work.
Crussaria has a fair amount of support and it gets not-too-much work.
I don't even have to mention how everyone loves STALKER.

Thank you Brandon, me and a few others have come up with ideas to hopefully fix the boring part of being a citizen. And we have also done a lot of work for the MPF, or CP depending on what you prefer. A more detailed thread will be posted once we get a few more things finished.

Do not want. At all. I would NEVER play on the HL2 server as it is overdone and extremely boring as if you are not a CP or a Rebel, your RP is being beat near to death all the time, which is not fun at all. I'd rather see our WIP projects go up before HL2RP, we need to get what we have already being worked on up first. Also if we do do HL2RP all I see happening is it getting a week of possible hype, of where the server has 10-20 people on it, then after that week, after people realize that being a citizen suck, and Rebels and CP's constantly shooting eachother is no fun, it will roll down hill from there and we will have anouther dead as a door nail server (Like all of our CSS servers TF2 servers and such)

Silver has most of the HL2RP stuff already. He just wants us to get the idea out completely to the community, we are currently getting some logos done for divisions. Then the thread will be ready to be made. If everything goes well, this project will be up shortly. As Silver does not have to do much work for it compared to CRP and FRP

Iiii'm so-so on it. Truthfully though I'll probably play it if it ends up good enough. HL2RP is good when you're in the mood for it. Hell if I can be active and well executed it'll maybe bring some more people in like the Minecraft RP has(hopefully) done.

The hl2 roleplay server will basically be a sub-roleplay server in HGN. I don't expect half the hgn playerbase to even go on it. It's there to reel in other new players into HGN. Not move people from stalker to hl2rp.

Perhaps we should make it a bit more interesting and maybe have the city be a mining camp or a lumberyard. So then citizens can work and migrate to and fro, delivering materials, ect.

Citizens were more prone to work in factories, from what I understand.
