Thats a hot piece, Id really want a metal L-85 airsoft gun, sadly they cost around 400 €, but well see. And bah, the red thing at the barrel is just bah. I know it might be for safety, but BAH.
It's got the red cap on the end so I don't get shot by the Police.
My UMP/UMG has the same thing but its really small so...I dont take it out in public that much cause I dont like prison...specially over an airsoft game, that'd be gay.

I got an SOCOM M-14 from Echo. I added a red dot scope and a bi-pod.
Sad thing is that my girlfriend knocked it over awhile back and the little sight thing broke off. Also the red cap falls off all the time. And the battery compartment sucks, I can't take it out without spending a good 10 minutes shoving it back in after a charge.

Yeah, thats not my picture but its almost an exact replica. Got a silencer on the front Only diffrence is that the Laser/Flashlight (Its 2 in 1 actually) I put under all the time.

Ukara: UK's Airsoft savior as airsoft was threatened to be banned, lots of crime before because dickheads were using BB guns for shit other than Skirmishes, thus the 'Violent Crime Reduction Act' was enacted and threatened to completely ban airsoft. My gun was bought used and is old and shitty, jams ALOT and the clip dosent come out sometimes, the slide is really really grabby so its hard to get that back sometimes.
When I first bought it I liked it for is durability and ability to withstand abuse like dropping it or having somone shoot it wich really fucks up my UMG for some reason, makes a massive dent. The color was cool too, Im looking to buy a Metal Colt 1911A1 or a P228 wichever I get the money for first, im in need of a good sidearm.
I had that gun..went home...45 minutes later tooked it back.
I got a 50 dollar springer like two years back. So far it has never broken, nor jammed on me. I don't know if it's luck or quality, but I have a connection to that crappy little pistol now. I've gotten pretty good at aiming too.
Well im quite amazed that so many of you actually own one, even more that killslim owns one. (The uk is so tight on it's gun laws)

Lol, dad bought it and gave it to me. Even though he's over 18 he hasn't got a Ukara lisence, so he wasn't able to get it completely realistic, thus the cap is orange.

I have a tokyo marui ak47. One of the best ones. It has about 50 fps since we modified it.We used parts from other aks also. I also got a jg bar 10 I think sniper rifle.Me and about 30 of my friends go out and airsoft around where we live. We have been doing it for about 5 or 6 years now.

350 Fps is average for any electric assault rifle, many gas and spring-loaded rifles exceed 350, but 50 fps?

The lack of knowledge airsofters have about their own gear is mind-boggling since $326 could either be a really good price for, say, a G&G or a really shitty price for, say, a Kart. All M14s use a version 7 gearbox because they all cloned Tokyo Marui.
...Of course it also seems in countries other than the US decent guns cost about 4 times what they do here so maybe $326 for a Kart is still a good deal.
And Turkey compared to pretty much every other first world country the US's firearm laws are much, much looser. Just some states have the bad luck to have retarded governors that shit on the 2nd amendment (see California, New York, Massachusetts)

I know almost everything about my M14,but i just cant say everything about it in english..:/
STAR/Ares M14s also run version 7 gearboxes. Every M14 does, there is just minor differences between them (G&G's and CA's is slightly different from Marui in terms of I think it's nozzle lengths. If it's an AGM then it's a Marui clone.
But it very good weapon :P,playing with it 3 months (every sunday 5-7 hours) and still nothing screwed.
G&G Combat Machine M4, non-Blowback version, plastic body, handguard, flat-top rail, stock, and some mock features. Metal pieces are the inner and outer barrel, ironsights, the front barrel set, front and rear sling mounts, dust cover, trigger, buffer tube, and most of the internals as far as I know.
Originally I bought a discontinued A&K M4 RIS at a local shop (Which was also attached to a CQB Indoor Field) because it was $130 and hurr durr RIS, but first round on the field it jammed up on me, apparently BBs got stuck up in the gearbox somehow (Don't ask me) and I was only going to be in town for that day so I couldn't let the store just take it in for repair the next day, so the guy at the counter (figured out later he owned the whole place) told me he would let take the rifle back and exchange it for this beautiful G&G he had still in the box brand-new for no extra charge, even threw in a free 9.6V Ni-MH 1500mAh.
If anybody is curious the place I went to is based in Los Angeles, California. If anyone lives near here and is interested in airsoft, they have rental guns and full face masks for a fair price, if you need any extra information here is their website link - http://taccityairsoft.com/ (http://taccityairsoft.com/)
P.S. Also came with a 450 Round Hi-Cap magazine and has a tightbore barrel.

Got a new airsoft gun today for my birthday and some new gear. I havn't airsofted in three-four years and I stopped since no one in my jew town had the balls to get airsoft or paintball except for my black friend. This year my friends finnaly decide to pick it up and so I went to a hobby store and picked up a nice M4 CQB Rifle made by Colt. It has a velocity of 453 with .20 pellets and 350 I think with .40 pellets ( I use .40 because my jew friends are afraid of anything higher than 400). The gun has an adjustable stock. I also got a red dot sight on it with night vision lens. I got a Swiss Army Tactical vest (since I grew out of my old one) with a side arm holster, a side arm pouch, a canteen pouch, three main weapon mag holders for easy reload and a bunch of other pockets and toys, and I got my old airsoft "clan"'s chain on it. I am going to go to a surplus store tommarow to buy some new military uniform. I also have my eye on this sick m1911 pistol made by colt (blow back) for $120 if I have money left over. I will post pictures of my gun and gear tommarow after school.
Oh yeah quick thing, the Colt line I like very much because they are durable (for me atleast) and they use real guns and they get rid of the insides and make the gun an airsoft gun. So the gun looks real (go figure) and it feels right. My first gun was a crappy plastic mp5k I got from DickSporting goods that crapped out on my all the time and battery melted after one round.

I think I would have less hate towards airsofters if the majority weren't 12 year olds who think like that. Have them google "Law of Conservation of Energy" and, assuming they are literate enough to read that (unlikely given their current thought process but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) that should convince them that they are dumbasses.

Just got a new GBB M1911 made by KJ Works, it uses a single stack magazine, and the gun itself is both CO2 and Gas compatiable. FPS is around 290-310 with green gas

Do it, or if you get hit record the game in the sidelines. You can buy these cameras that you attach to your gun thats kind of like a snake cam the swat team uses.
Some of these cameras are expensive, two I can name are the GoPro HD which comes with a lot of mounts for helmets, but not for guns. The Contour HD Camcorder is smaller and has seperately purchased gun mounts for a RIS/RAS unit. GoPro has a larger field of view than the Contour but it rattles when running due to the way it mounts to the helmet, while the contour snaps on to the mount and has no rattle whatsoever that I know of.
The Contour prices around 249.99 and the GoPro about ten dollars or euros more.
P.S. The GoPro records MP4 files in stock form, if you don't know how to change the file to a more compatiable file then get the Contour HD.

Two quick pictures of my new molle vest with my ACU, most of the pouches are a bit ratty ass, but it was cheaper getting surplus than a new ones.
P.S. Properly threading MOLLE pouches in is easier than trying to take them off, reccommend getting a MOLLE speed threader to spare your fingers threading the straps through the MOLLE on the vest and reverse side of the pouches. (The reason you thread them through the vest AND the pouch is to make it more secure)

I want to do paintballing really bad. It looks like a lot of fun, but my only concern is finding people to play with, and the price of buying equipment. What would you recommend as a good "starter" weapon?

Rentals suck ass. Equipment is not that costly, besides the paintball and gun themselves.

Woodsball: Doesn't really matter. If you are willing to shell out the money, some of the milsim weapons are good for woodsball if you look at BT. Or you can get a decent speedball gun but they aren't exactly known to be durable.
A speedball gun will outperform any woodsball gun period. Speedball guns are almost universally faster, lighter, and more air efficient than some tippmann with 30 pounds of cosmetic mods (and not a whole lot more expensive either).
If you think you are going to be serious into paintball at all, skip the low end tippmann stuff and get a decent gun and compressed air tank. You will be much happier, even if it is more expensive.

More expensive, but WILL save you SOOOOOOO much money down the road. I've had to replace more 'cheaper' guns before and with it being about $50 a pop or more for those guns, it adds up.
Stuff like Airsoft and paintball guns is so expensive and illegal in norway :P

This is true. I still have my Tippman which is burdensome but has never broken once. Back when I played paintball a lot I owned an Eclipse which I had no problems with.

Well, the thing is is that not a lot of people play in the late spring/summer because 1) A lot of people don't like getting hit on bare skin so they wear pants, which is unbearable in 90-100 degree weather, at least down in the southeast. 2) Balls will be warped and damaged by the heat and cause an increase in the likelihood they won't break on impact.

I only have a few at a time, I've owned over 20 but right now have 2, the one I got yesterday and the green/black pump. I have my first spyder also but it's not usable as it has a proprietary battery that died years ago
