Every time I try to log onto the server it gets past the logging in part, but then freezes and times out when it starts dowloading the terrain.
Any idea why this might be happening?

After thinking it over a bit I remembered that the last time I was on the server it started lagging horibbly and I fell through the world. Maybe it times out because it is trying to load something below the normal world when it spawns me.
Your computer is probably being extremely slow. What is happening most likely is that there is to much information for your computer to handle at the moment when it starts downloading the terrain, that the game sorta freezes. Either that, or you don't have a good enough connection to the server right now.
I don't think it's a computer problem cause I can still connect to other servers I play on, the only problem I am having is with this one.

I can get Port to delete your current character on the server. It basically means when you next log on you will start at spawn as though you were new to the server, allowing you to properly load the world and play (if you did really fall through the map). The only downside is you lose the items you have on you. Do you want to try this, or do you want to wait?

Edit: Nhart, I was just on when you tried to join, it lags the server horribly for a good ten seconds before you get automatically disconnected. Wait for me to talk to Port and fix things before you keep trying to join, you may end up crashing the server.
Second Edit: The server just crashed after tons of lag, shortly after you joined and left. Something is messed up.
Nhart, please don't join for a little while. If you continue this, we'll have to temp-ban you. :(
I currently don't have access to the FTP rig unless I want to drive 30 miles, again, but I will be going there this coming Thursday, regardless.

I was wondering, if you were to completely wipe my account in order to reset the spawn, wouldn't that also cause any money I got from iconomy to be lost. If so could someone check how much I have so that it would be possible to get this back (I think it was around 1100)

No, iConomy is handled by a totally seperate iConomy file. It may have issues relating you with your bank account in the reference docs, but I can fix that with a simple /money set
