You are obviously blind if you don't there are politics at play in every single roleplay server, not only here on HGN, but everywhere else.  But really, I honestly don't know what exactly you mean by politics in this regard though, as you have said that even rules are politics.

I think that you are so caught up in some self-delusional fantasy of "saving" the server that you don't actually have a clue of what is going on around you.  I let politics into the game?  There have been politics back before and during DEAP, Novarium, and The Legion, but back then you kept your nose of of everything and just roleplayed.  I think it is you who is over-thinking what is going on here.

P.S. maybe I should have stayed out of the politics of the server, but it's too late for that now.
