Gate Sigil: This spell links dimensions that exist beyond the world we know. This ritual allows binding, conjuration, banishment and exorcism of supernatural creatures in both physical and non-physical form. Along with this, the caster may attempt to call for the intercession of gods that he is in favour with. This ritual requires the use of talismans and the drawing of a gate sigil, alongside the usual chanting and/or meditation in a ritual. Casting time varies, with a minimum of five minutes for operations involving minor supernatural creatures and increasing by roughly ten minutes to access higher levels of creatures, ten for each tier. Gods can be called upon at the minimum five minutes, but the success rate for such an undeveloped invocation would be the same as simple prayer.

The tiers of creature are as follows:
Minor < Lesser < Intermediary < Greater < Major

Intermediary represents the point at which a creature is considered equal to a human, in both mental and physical faculties.

All of these creatures can be sorted into the following groups, each having a particular weakness:

Elementals - Beings of the four classical elements (because aether is excluded) - Fire (salamanders), Water(nymphs), Air(sylphs) and Earth(gnomes). Elemental fire is weak against elemental water, and vice versa . Elemental earth is weak against elemental air, and vice versa.

Agathodemons (Celestials) - Beings tied to the celestial realms, usually in the service of gods. They have a weakness to cursed weaponry, quicksilver and their opposite, the cacodemons.

Cacodemons (Infernals) - Beings tied to the infernal realms or hells, sometimes serving malevolent gods but just as often serving no master, squabbling amongst themselves in constant chaos. They have a weakness to blessed weaponry, quicksilver and their opposite, the agathodemons.

Genii (Astrals) - Beings tied to the astral plane, the realm of the mind and dreams, genii are built from the psychic residue created by the thoughts of all living things. Because of their nature, they can only affect things with a consciousness and so cannot really affect the material world or things considered mindless, such as constructs.

Phantasms (Ghosts) - The spirits of the dead, called from the underworld back to the land of the living. Phantasms may reanimate the corpse they left when they died, providing a physical form known as a zombie. Without this physical form, however, a phantasm cannot stray too far from the company of its summoner without the creation of a phylactery (a container of sorts, which, if destroyed, will cause the phantasm to dissipate). Phantasms are weak to silver weaponry and to any magic cast against them.

Fey (Faeries) - Creatures born from the aether, or quintessence - the fifth element which bridges the pathways between dimensions. Takes 1 minutes to break through with a sword/fists/arrows but only 10 seconds if the attacker uses fire mana use: 60 lasts two minutes if not attacked at all
*lightning: Lighting shoots from the end of the users staff, shocking the target. The effects may vary depending on the target and how close they are. The lighining will continue as long as the user can concentrate it, if the user is attacked the lightining will stop. The lightining stuns the target as long as it is trained on a target inside the range of 6 blocks, but outside a 4 block radius. if the target is any where inside 4 blocks of the user they will begin to take shock damage and are stunned aswell. ( if another person interupts the user the lightining will stop ).
Misc: This may be able to start hearts again if the user shocks the corpse and if they have not been dead long.
Mana Cost: 40 ( maximum range is 6 blocks ). plus twenty mana per five seconds

Torch: Cuases a small orb of light, cuasing roughly the same amount of light as a torch, to appear on the top end of the users staff or in the users palm. It illuminates the surrounding area. 5 mana

Extend/reduce Staff: This ability takes very little mana to use and does not have much of an effect on the user, but it provides a way to make the user's staff easier to transport. 1 mana

Conjure Gate:
Milizar can conjure a portal, something like the Chaos Gate, to teleport him and perhaps a few companions to a different plane, and to his personal pod in the Ether. Time: 10 min for a spell that lasts until closed (by me, or Port.)

Magical Influence:
Milizar can concentrate on transmitting magicka into a person, to influence their decisions and actions, for a short time. Cast time: 20 min for 10 minute effect, decisions to be made through /tell or some sort of non-global/non-local chat.

Magical Shield:
An impenetrable shield of magic, prepared before battle or dangerous situations, that can protect the user for no longer than 10 minutes, then the caster will be subject to permanent damage to shield. Cast time: 5-10 minutes (whatever app checker feels like).

Magical Lights:
Can keep a certain area lit for the amount of time in the local area, and takes about 3 minutes of preparation. (Cast in Ether Pod)

Fire Wall:
A blazing hot wall of fire, that can surround an area or the caster. Takes 5 minutes to put up, then the caster must indefinitely cast the spell, but when the caster stops the wall immediately goes down.

I realize some of this stuff is probably a lil' OP. Feel free to fix it as you like!

Ebon Shift: Twin bracelets he wears allow him to store/withdraw items into or from a secondary storage dimension. Portal can only be created in shadows with which he has direct contact. also only one item can be withdrawn at a time. After being drawn once, the ability to draw items is put on cooldown for ten real life minutes. He is only able to put in weapons that he has created. This has no cooldown.






10 mana/punch
Gauntlet Pluto: a solid gauntlet. It retains the shape of a fist once equipped and prevents the user from breaking the arm it is activated upon. To equip it takes about 30 sec RP time (aka must be taken out and equipped in RP which to withdraw from "Ebon Shift" portal requires one statement, and  3 separate ones to equip. when in use it can punch once every 2 ooc min due to cool-down. When used 3 rock-like objects in runes disconnect physically from gauntlet and hover above connected by glowing magic strands to the gauntlet which glows in runes. The rocks then produce magic flames which propel the gauntlet forward at speeds between 15-25 mph, but once the flames are activated and the punch commited, the trajectory of the punch cannot be changed until opposing contact is made upon the gauntlet (aka the gauntlet makes contact with another object). However a total of only 10 punches can be thrown per [ooc] day due to a recharge requirement upon the gauntlets power source. Description: the gauntlet itself is of a black obsidian-type magic rock engraved with runes and symbols. While this attack holds great strength, it does so with the sacrifice of all control other than an initial launch. While larger foes would need to withstand the brunt of the force, many smaller more opponents whom find themselves on the business end of the gauntlet will many a time be able to dodge and sidestep the attack, and take advantage of his unalterable momentum to strike him

Demon's benediction: amulet based. This when activated covers his right arm up all the way up the side of his face, including the eye and eyelid of that side of the face, in glowing runes. Also a rune of an eye appears on his hand which soon produces an actual eye upon it which can fire rays of pure energy at near instant speeds. It only has 5 shots per ooc day due to its power. Also due to the presence of this power his eyes have been permanently turned black and his hair a dark blue. After used the amulet shatters and must be reforged. in of itself though it can be activated at any point almost instantly after forging due to the magic used is in-cased within it. forge time for initial/re-creation is 1 ooc day. beams can damage living tissue and upon impact with any solid object give off a concusive explosion of the energy dispelling, which if in contact with stone or weaker leaves a small crater of 2 in depth and 10 in diameter. Anything of higher strength i.e. metal is left unscathed and simply receives the concussive effect of the blast and receives no damage. Anything over 200 pounds in weight also nullifies the concussive effect, simply becoming a slightly staggering burst. Also while in this form, the runes over his eye become like a targeting device while at the cost of all depth perception.

It draws the energy for the blade from a black and amber piece of onyx in the vambrace. If for any reason the crystal is struck and it shatters, then a 3 minecraft day repair period is required to craft a new crystal (example: assassins creed blade only where blade is pure energy that hardens into a crystal and dissolves back into energy that is all contained in the gauntlet). At max length the blade is 6 in and made up of metal at slightly higher grade than stainless steel. Because of this, iron armor or stronger cannot be pierced by the blade, while anything of less strength is easily cut through
[note: as well as this weapon goes I didn't see a need to put a restriction upon usages or a need for reagents due to its very limited use]

Sanctum forge: ritual requiring full concentration used to repair any damaged mage-smith item. Requires 10 pieces of glass and an iron bar to complete and requires a 3-minecraft-day period to work. These requirements are for repairs only. [note one shall be constructed for use]

Me and Fluff's characters will be having a son and we need someone to fill the role.

Bray talked us into it and who ever fills this role must be a male character, the son will potentialy become the next king and replace Bray's current character once he dies.

would anyone atleast consider this ^^'

also one more thing, if its not a problem, the character will be a cross between a Gedwey and a Human. This wont be much of a difference and the character will look relitively human with the exception of glowing eyes and mabye some blue swirls on thier skin :P .... but we are still having to figure this out.

I like this, overall, but want to see you re-do it (slightly) and try not using a mana pool.
The idea of a mage-smith is your artifacts are constantly helping you, it just takes an amazingly long time to construct and activate them.

IE. You can only make one a day (or something. It could be one a week or one a month.)
The longer it takes for you to make an object, the more potent it would be.
Mage-Smith artifacts wouldn't really have activated effects.

Overall, it's a good Technologist application but that's not up y- I just spoiled it.

As I said, you should take away your mana pool entirely and only have a couple of activated effects that are byproducts of enchanting. The ones you have now are really seperate from the items you make.

Smiths are basically walking tanks made of magic.

Milizar can conjure a portal, something like the Chaos Gate, to teleport him and perhaps a few companions to a different plane, and to his personal pod in the Ether. Time: 10 min for a spell that lasts until closed (by me, or Port.) or until magically dispelled by another mage.


Magical Influence:
Milizar can concentrate on transmitting magicka into a person, to influence their decisions and actions, for a short time. Cast time: 20 min for 10 minute effect, decisions to be made through /tell or some sort of non-global/non-local chat.


Magical Shield:
An impenetrable shield of magic, prepared before battle or dangerous situations, that can protect the user for as long as he maintains the ritual, but takes his full attention. The caster can barely even speak when he is preforming this ritual. This shield only protects against magic damage. Physical attacks still do 80% of normal damage.

Magical Lights:
The caster summons a wisp of ghostlight to light up the area. The ghostlight solidifies into a cube (glowstone) but disappears in five minutes.
Ritual time: 5 minutes.


Cindervull:
A blazing hot wall of fire and ash, that can surround the caster or extend for 10m in a line. Takes 2 minutes to put up, then the caster must indefinitely cast the spell, but when the caster stops the wall dies down after thirty seconds. If the caster surrounds himself with this wall, he must be coated in ashes or he will suffer 1 heart of fire damage every 30 seconds.

I realize some of this stuff is probably a lil' OP. Feel free to fix it as you like!

Ether Gate: Creates a portal to the Either by which he can return home or invite others there. the portal will last until it is dispelled by another mage or taken down (by me or Port). 10 minute cast time. Extremely visible.

Light: Creates a small ball of light the size of a beachball that follows the cater for visibility in darkness. 15 but will cancel out if the caster is damaged or highly distracted. Lasts 3 minutes if undistracted, casting time 5 minutes

Numbing touch: On touch the caster imbues a fighter with the ability to be hurt in an area but not feel the paining effects of the wound. This DOES NOT affect damage in any way. Touch spell, 15 per limb takes 5 minutes of ritual time to cast per, can be used as a sedative if cast on the head with 30 mana.

Close wound: Using magic this closes large gashes, breaks, ecs, but will not completely heal them or reduce risk of infection. Neil must hold a hand over the wound and chant for ten minutes. 30 mana with prior set up and ritual.
