So, I tried going into the options and hit "choose build manually" but I couldn't figure that out. I'll try to look for an old version of the .jar later, but I cleared the cache and it didn't help downloading again. All in all I'm getting the "Took to long to log in" messages, but if I find an old version of the .jar for spoutcraft I'll leave the link here.

Yeah, just my internet then, guess I'll have to reset the router and see if that helps...

Now I have a new laptop I wan't to start RPing again and this was my favorite server to RP on. The only problem is I can't connect! It just says "Too long to log in" :(


So if anyone has any suggestions I'm happy to hear you out :)

You need to downgrade to our version of Minecraft.  Use the Spoutcraft client.

Why do you people update?  I mean really.  The server can't update because our plugins haven't all updated yet (so says Port).  Unless we make an official post saying we have updated, don't do it!

Don't even update Spoutcraft's version unless we tell you to.

Oh!  Excellent!  If you are having trouble connecting even with Spoutcraft, do what Spectrum did.

Seriously, use spoutcraft, if you intend on stay in aceon it'll make your life easier, by far.

I knew that, I said it's just my internet, now, I hope. Dunno if it's actually working (the 1.1 thing) because the menu to go to the Multiplayer tab is still looking the same still looks the same.

Sorry for double post, but for the past few days my internet has been shit.
When I looked on the Multiplayer screen the MS keeps getting lower (that's good), but about 2 days ago it was in the 2000's, now it's in the 200-1100 ranges, if it continues to, for lack of a better word, re-stabilize itself I should be able to get on Aceon within a matter of days. Happy RP-ing!

Step 1: Open Spoutcraft
Step 2: Click 'Options'
Step 3: Check "Manually Select Spoutcraft Build" and wait a few seconds
Step 4: Choose "1171|1.1" in the "Select Spoutcraft build" dropbar
Step 5: Log in and if prompted (you should be) "Update Minecraft?" choose yes, this will download the 1.1 update, which I derpetedly didn't realize until now.
Step 6: Download
Step 7: ???
Step 8: PROFIT!
