The Great Omneculom

A place steeped in legend and history, the Omneculom is the home of two great orders and the largest collection of knowledge in Aceonic history. Consisting of three parts, the Omneculom is one of the largest buildings left standing after the fall of the Ermorian Empire. The left tower or the Warders Tower is the home of the Sigil Order. The men of the Sigil Order are masters of creating Wards and Sigils that can repel all manner of daemon and ghoul; the Wards they create reflect the power and attacks of daemons and turn them back in an array of different ways; some are purely defensive while others can wipe out whole armies of ghouls at a single touch. The Sigil Order is headed by its representative on the council of knowledge, the Keystone.

The right tower or the Welders Tower is the home of the Construct Order. While not as spectacular as the Sigil Order, the Welders are responsible for the maintenance of the Stackers in the Library itself. They were once masters of imbuing life into machines, unfortunately their purest creations have been lost to time, the creation of the Stackers; the Stackers are huge constructs that sole purpose is the care and prospering of the Omneculom, they stalk the halls of the Library returning books to their rightful place and keeping quiet with their ominous presence. Towering at eight feet, the Stackers are lumbering constructs that can cause no harm to any save for wild beasts that sneak into the Omneculom. Once plentiful in number, the Stackers are now few; the fall of the Ermorian Empire caused rifts in the magical nature of the Stackers and many simply crumbled to dust. The Construct Order seeks to find their lost blueprints and bring the Stackers back to their old numbers. In the meantime the Construct order create all manner of gadgets and gizmos, and research into the methods of creating automatons.

The Library of the Omneculom takes up the whole of the main building and much of the mountain behind it. From floor to ceiling the whole building is crammed with bookshelves that hold a truly unimaginable wealth of knowledge, rumour has it that all lost history, magic and technology can be found somewhere in a dusty bookshelf deep within the building.

NOTE: If you wish to be a Warder you have to have an accepted magic application with your magic being Warding. The Welders cannot make robots only study their remains or make superficial repairs to them
