New world: A Capital / Town for all.

After reading loads of posts about we need more roleplay and events i've come up with a solution that might work in the new map if people agree to let me build it :)

Idea:
A central capital in the new world (not a faction) but a place where all can meet, trade, RP etc. Also the area will be big enough for all to have a house and/or a shop. The city will be sorounded by a circle/square wall with 4 gates (open all time) and towers medieval style.

A square (or several) will be placed OR there will be destricts/areas as in:
Trading destrict, information destrict, huge gardens or just 1, etc. ( extra: the city will be separated in the fame/rank/wealth the individual got )

At specific dates there will be festivals/events in the city, so people can come and RP.

Road system will be like the old Rome's / manhatten NY style ( easier to navigate ) there will also be add signs which will help people in directions and there might come street names and/or numbers. (streets will be mostly made of stone, but at some places by mud or gravel.

[something extra] Also before entering the city players IC have to leave their weapons in a private chest at the entrance of the city where there is builded a store house.

Personally i would gladly build this on my own and put out areas for where people can build houses... All houses in the city must be builded of wood ( but can be decorated with wool or other types of wood ). There will be set out rules on how to behave in the city aswell as a museum where all factions can write their story, so they do not need to say it all the time some1 asks.

I hope the idea will be accepted :) 'cause i love to build big stuff :D 

P.S.
The city will be AND I CANNOT WRITE IT BIG ENOUGH neutral, no fighting, no fancy technology only a place where all can meet, RP, trade and maybe get ideas from other players creations

Will there be limited space for houses? You can always build outside the wall then make another one.

Yes there will be a limited area of building a house but enough for making it spacy enough to live in:

2 floors
Ground level: kitchen and livingroom
1st floor: bedroom and work room

it would be all that u needed and I will make a prototype of an house so people can se how it can look and c how much space there aprox would be given.

you can still have houses on the other side of the wall since the factions will be out there.. it is only something i was thinking about in the city so it would be fair for all

Thanks I would need loads of iron tools since i need to dig for the stone in the underground... which will make the main city ontop of a city beneath it or under the city there will be a maze off tombs :D ill figure out when ill make it a realistick mine if u can say but thanks for the support :D

The faster i get the resources that is needed for the Capital / Town ( if it will be approved by the admins ) the faster i will be able to build it and people can have a place to start out :D

Well i still think that they should build their own towns since there will be factions... But the idea was a place where people can go / meet and RP... I will stay in the town when it is finished and help newcommers and RP with ppl who need it :)

I will keep building on the project until it is done :D even if people build their own towns around. More towns / factions will only lead to more roads, more interaction and different types of RP, so more towns is needed to make a better RP imo... if you get my thinking :) ( Sometimes i can explain like shit soz )

I would stil like a clear answer if posibel, either if i should build a "main" city or not  :-\

'cause i think it would help the server of getting a better reputation of RP and we might attracht more players  :). Still only a thought and hopefully if the constructuion idea would be approved and builded, then afterwards destroyed by some 1 who do not wish to create a good server then there is an issue :-\

however i would not get a heart att if the city should be blown into pieces...

I support this aswell, but there might be so many thing going wrong.
Beeing a neutral town most likely, it will cause some problems if there's war times between different factions.

A neutral town won't be spared.

I'm pretty neutral on this project but I'm not above helping it get off the ground.
