with the new mods i propose a new way to hold faction battles

first all sides meet at an agreed on battle field along with third party 'observers'
soldiers will fight while the 'leaders' will stand on the border of the field
soldiers that die can return to battle until it ends or they run out of power
the battle ends when a leader 'dies' or a side loses all of their power
observers will check the power and notify participants when it is depleted

there is no pk but the loser must surrender to the winners conditions

does this seem acceptable?

I don't think people should come back to the battlefield

With the size of the factions it'd make things a little more fun. Tts not like you die from one or two lucky hits and you're out for the next two minutes the battle lasts becuase theres only four people fighting. This way battles would last longer and generaly be more fun if people get a second - or third chance at the fight.

this is there to prevent leaders from just claiming the territory and building a wall around them selves

couldn't you just put that as a rule instead of making people come back to the battlefield. Anyway I prefer the old system for with this new one the heads of factions don't get to fight they just observe and that's no fun.

Faction Battles are pretty simple.

Third option is mainly meant for quick battles.

Option 1 - No RP Battle

1. Factions will start with points, in terms of how many soldiers they have. It'll function like Battlefront's Reinforcement Points.
    a. These numbers dictate the deployable amount of troopers.
2. Players will battle. Obviously.
3. Death means respawn. Points go down and death must be declared by the person who dies and thier killer.
4. If a Leader dies, points go down by 25 and that person must make a new character.
5. If an Officer dies, points go down by 5 but a new character isn't required.
6. If a soldier dies, points go down by 1. New character is not required.

Option 2 - Leader's Duel


1. Invisible soldiers fight the battle.
2. Officers command them.
3. Leaders duel as described above, best 2/3 wins.
4. Victor can choose to execute or spare the loser.
5. Claims are negotiated if they are spared.
6. If the loser is executed, they're PK'd and lose all of the land in question.

Option 3 - Rock Paper Scissor Battle


1. Best 2/3 wins.
2. Victor can choose to execute or spare the loser.
3. Claims are negotiated if they are spared.
4. If the loser is executed, they're PK'd and lose all of the land in question.

ah so that is the current system

i just though a new system that utilizes the 'power' aspect of the new mod would be intresting
btw anybody know of the damage reduction ratio that you receive while on your own territory?

My explained system is just streamlined for people who don't like to RP (or something) or need thier battle over quickly.

Naturally, we can RP battles en masse.

It's something like 15%

Second, the Reinforcement Number will be directly correlated to the Power integer.
