Map Making

Hey, I was bored a couple days ago, so i decided to try and make a map for the bg server.  However I made a rookie mistake, and was trying to make a bg map with cs configuration.  After looking things up on my own to set up the battlegrounds map configuration, I haven't found anything that works.  I followed the bg2 forum but with those settings, my hammer gets all screwed up and I can't see the graph lines, or anything that I am making.
Any hints how to help me out?
