As is obvious, my character has a past, one he doesn't know, and sometimes I don't either. It's a murky mess, but one thing is certain, it's undeserved. He was a military commander, part of a little known legion of scouts. Something happened on his last mission, something too terrible to know. It tore him apart, mentally and physically. And, it may have torn more apart, but he obviously doesn't really know, beyond his dreams.

After the fall of Ermor, Trav wandered for about a week. Nothing dramatic, no sudden epiphanies, no giant exodus of outcasts, just a few days in the cold and then he found Valenrakah. He fell in line, happy to be with fellow Ex-Ermorians once again.

They're mainly to accentuate Sladik's laid-back personality, but the reason I began to wear them in Allods is because it hides the hats I'd otherwise be wearing that clash with my armor sometimes, while showing my long, wild hair.

The definition of "druid" has been twisted so much with the amount of rpgs these days...Pretty much any member of any race that looks like he or she spends most of his or her life in a natural setting and uses nature in daily activities can be classified as a druid. In Allods, male druids have bears as pets, so their costume is themed after a bear. I think that the sunglasses make Sladik look like a hippie, but he acts sort of like one, too.

It seems to me like the obvious thing to do would be to post a pic of your MC skin so people would know who you were instead of ridiculous anime people that likely look nothing like you in game but I guess that makes too much sense.

The reason why people don't post a picture of their minecraft skin, is because the minecraft skin is what everyone has already seen, and always see of you. The minecraft skins are imperfect, and so to further create a character, they find a more detailed picture they think looks like their character.
In Green's case he found a picture he liked and built his skin from it. In Duraga's case he had his character drawn for him, like I do, but not everyone can do these things.
