Only gripe is the fact that his cloak thingy looks really out of place here.

Can't wait for Assassin's Creed III to come out. Played all of the versions so far.

And the cover honestly looks sick!

I can't wait for number 4 or 5, when he is in Europe assassinating Nazi's during WW2.

I heard they've had a different team working on this game alongside Brotherhood and Revelations (which I hope to high hell is the case).
Still, I can already see it: NEW BENJAMIN FRANKLIN DLC - BURN REDCOATS WITH LASER SPECTACLES

Agreed.  Assassins Creed II was good, Brotherhood and Revelations kinda sucked imo.

I hope that's a new/updated engine I'm looking at.

Oh, never mind I guess. Ubisoft better not muck this up.

Not sure about this. Honestly I think AC would have been fine just staying in the Middle East without this stupid science fiction metaplot. Not to say I didn't like AC2 (AC:B is fun but after AC2 it is really repetitive, and I'm already dreading AC:R in that regard) but the Crusades-era Middle East is underused as a setting and they could have easily made an extremely engrossing story about political powerplays and the assassins without jumping the shark 500 times with this convoluted "Piece of Eden" shit.

Although maybe now that guns are widely used the game won't be stupidly easy. While I certainly take a huge amount of guilty pleasure in AC:B (and I imagine I will in AC:R when I beat AC:B and start on it) of murdering the fuck out of legions of guards in one long counter streak it really causes the game to lose focus. Mandatory stealthy sections stop making sense when you have just murdered 100 guards without taking a single point of damage.

Also interested to see what new and interesting DRM Ubisoft will try to justify for this outing since that is always good for a laugh.
