World of Tanks is a team-based massively multiplayer online game dedicated to armored warfare in the mid-20th century. Throw yourself into epic tank battles shoulder to shoulder with other steel cowboys to dominate the world with tank supremacy!

An advanced system of vehicle upgrade and development allows you to try out the vehicles and weapons featured in the game. Whether you prefer to exhaust your foes with fast and maneuverable light tanks, punch deep into enemy lines with all-purpose medium tanks, use the power of heavy tanks to eliminate opposing forces, or become a high-powered sniper using long-range artillery, each unit type is extremely lethal and effective when commanded by a true tank ace.

It takes more than just being a great tank commander to win. In World of Tanks, it's all about teamwork. Victory can only be achieved through the combined efforts of every member of the team, each playing their own role on the battlefield.

World of Tanks is an action-based MMO, although it is not restricted by the cliches of many popular games in this genre.

RPG. Your armored steed is not just a tin can on tracks - it is a living, evolving creature and should be treated accordingly. Experience and credits gained in battle allow you to research and develop upgrades and modifications, enhancing your tank's performance on the battlefield.

Action. Remember, it is all about your skill and reaction time, whether you take part in operations to spot, track, and destroy enemy units or engage in head-to-head gun battles.

Shooter. The flexible camera provides a range of viewpoints, from arcade-like third-person to sniper-like views straight down the gunsights, with simple controls to handle your tank smoothly on the battlefield.

Strategy. In World of Tanks there is only one rule - don't be a hero! Rally your comrades, devise a battle plan, and assign roles - then move out and defeat your enemy on the field of battle.

The enormous fleet of tanks at your disposal includes more than 150 vehicles engineered and produced in Germany, the Soviet Union and the United States from the 1930's to the 1950's. You have a unique opportunity to operate any armored fighting vehicle of the period, including legendary World War II tanks such as the T-34, Tiger, and Pershing, and experimental models and prototypes which never made it onto the battlefield.
