It has come to my attention so many times that the shoutbox is seen as a shitbox for people to scream random bullshit and the admins that tried to moderate it could not cope with the amount of rubbish people were posting.

Not only that but people outside of HGN take note of the shoutbox and see it as the attitude of the community being that it's displayed on most pages on the forums.

I would like to ask people their opinion on this matter and if the shoutbox should be hidden, placed elsewhere or even removed due to the issues surrounding it.

That way, if people would like to ignore the shoutbox, they can toggle it off.
