Nathan Jones

Nathan lived in a small village next to a forest, he was a good hunter at an early age and helped the village when he could. He trained with a sword and bow nearly everyday and planned on joining the army. One day when Nathan was aged 19 the village was attacked by barbarians, he rushed to defend the village with some of the other men. The barbarian leader watched from a hill at the fight taking place and noticed Nathans quite good skills with a blade. The barbarian leader stopped the fight and stated that he would leave the village alone and stop the attack if Nathan would join them. Nathan left with them to avoid more blood shed and became a barbaric warrior, and at the age of 21 he was nearly as good as the barbarian leader with a blade.


He found out that the barbarian leaders name was Rashnar and Nathan came to admire his skill with a blade. They often fought against each other in training but fought side by side in battle. Nathan fought bandits, barbarians, thugs and other criminals, but unfortunaterly he also fought simple farmers.
One day Rashnar called upon Nathan and 10 other men to help him with something. They all followed with there weapons and they stopped on the side of a hilly forrest over looking a road. Up the road 7 white horses appeared, 6 of them were mounted by Knights wearing Silver armour the other one was wearing golden armour. They all appeared to be from the army and were Elite warriors part of the Kings Royal guard. Rashnar wanted to kill them all and show the King their power but Nathan had admired the army since childhood and didn't want to fight.


The barbarians let out a volley of arrows killing one of the Silver Knights and wounded anothers horse causing him to dismount. The Knights drew there Silver Broadswords the sun gleaming off them and the Captain drew his Golden sword. The Knights rallyed on the Captain and formed a line as the barbarians charged with there swords screaming a war cry. Nathan ran among the barbarians but suddenly cut one of the barbarians down with a quick slash along his back. Some of the barbarians turned on Nathan as he picked up the dead mans sword dual weilding it. The Knights charged on their horses trampling the barbarians and cuttiting them down with their swords.


As the screams ringed out of the dieing barbarians, Rashnar charged and attacked Nathan. Their swords clashed together as Rashnar furiously attacked keeping Nathan moving backwards on the defensive. Rashnar slashed at Nathans arm cutting it causing him to drop one of his swords. He continued to defend but then saw a chance to counter attack, he thrust his sword forward and parryed Rashanrs out of the way and cut him along the chest before slashing at his arm. Rashnar still attacked still, Rashnar drew his two handed great axe from his back and brought it down upon Nathan, his sword breaking under it's power. As Nathan fell to the floor the Captain saved him by blocking Rashnars attack and they both began a dual. The Captains skill was increadable to Nathan, he kept blocking Rashnars attacks with little effort and counter attacked repeatably. As Rashnar lost energy he fell to his knees dropping his axe and the captain decapitated him with a clean swing of his sword.


Nathan was picked up and the Captain brought Nathan to the City where the king lived. His wounds were treated and the Captain told Nathan that he admired his bravery and skill. Nathan learnt that the Captains name was Thalnor and was in fact the leader of the entire Royal Guard. Thalnor gave Nathan some work to help him acquire money and soon Nathan bought a house in the city where he lives currently wondering what he should do.

After a short while of thinking Nathan moved to the town of Caphori where he has started a militia
