Disappointed.

So I came back after being Mass Effect 3's bitch for a month, and I'm rather disappointed by what I've come back to.


Nothing's changed. I took absence when people were still furious about griefers, looking to reformat the application process, edit the server rules and regulations...yet it looks like nothing's changed. Also, why do we suddenly have 50 operators? (Obvious exaggeration is obvious)? Does a server with a typical max population of about 8 people need 80% operator players?


I'm rather disappointed to find we have made no progress since our last griefer attack structure-wise. What's going on?

Hex built a grief proof spawn area where someone would Have to let you out...

A) The operators are mostly people who are supervising from other areas of HGN. Also we are attempting to build up a dedicated player base which is the back bone for a good server, also we need people capable to take over when eventually James, myself and other elders leave


B) I am aware of this issue and will attempt to resolve it whenever I have the time. Some of the precautions we have already implemented are a protected spawn, more moderators to help stop griefers and the change from James to me being the accepter or denier of new applicants and I now have made the level of entry higher especially in the RP section.


C) Please give suggestions! We don't want to make brash decisions we may regret so please give feedback and opinions on what to change!


D) I am going to attempt change the application and completely change it to put more of a focus on quality and ability in RP and to put in extra precaution to make sure that people actually read the rules and regulations


E) James made the protected spawn


Thank you for the feedback and complaints Crow, I think that this thread should be used for people to address any problems and also provide ideas for solutions so that I am not swamped down with work :3

On a serious note, progress is painful, half the admin team are away, and more. I doubt we'll see changes soon, but hey- it's not that bad.
