This is my first night at the "A For Mus um" here in Ohio. I think this was once a big air base or something. Everything's quiet and I locked all the doors tight. I found a security room- it's got steel doors with big, thick bolt locks. I feel safe here and there's also a locked safe in the corner, I wonder if I can crack it. Although I've only got about three days of water, maybe double that of food... and this terminal, I guess. And that printer over there... Well... I don't know if I can stay for long.

But this is my new home. And that's a good thing.

Woke up this morning. Didn't sleep well last night. My door was covered in blood- red human blood. I don't know what happened but I heard scratching. The rest of the Afor Musum is fine. I found a big three-gallon tank of water in the basement. It's clean and has no radiation. I think I'm going to be staying here for a while. Going to try to get the cameras working tomorrow. Shouldn't be hard.

It's the middle of the night. I don't think they know I'm in here. I just heard the voices. I think it's slavers.

The screaming. Last night. Horrible horrible screaming. All of the doors were locked- all of the exits and their steel shutters were down. I'm trapped inside with whatever's in here. Oh god, help me I want to go back to the Vault.

I haven't left my room for two days, but I finally fixed the camera system. I can only see two places- outside my door and inside some unlit room. I can't tell where it is.
I found some keys and some key cards. And a map. And this weird plastic blue thing, as well as a lot of old clothing. They were all inside a big cardboard box that said "Los Fond". Whoever Los Fond was, he was really smart to keep all of this ready.

I checked my camera feed for all of the last two nights. Nothing was at my door and nothing did anything anywhere. I didn't hear any scratching. I slept well. Maybe everything's going to be okay. The outside doors are still locked. I don't think I can leave yet. Hopefully I can, eventually.

More raiders came. I don't know how they're getting in. That's the fourth time people've come to my Afor Musum. I am getting used to the screams. I think they deserve it for invading my home. I discovered more clean water in the cellar. It was near these bottles that said "Each". I don't know what Each is, but it smells awful and each bottle said "Oiso" in big red letters. The scratching started again. The security feeds are broken. Something's wrong with the computer systems.

It's been a few weeks since my last entry- the terminal was broken for a little while, but... Well, the raiders have kept coming. I heard some gunshots last time they came, and I hardly noticed their screams. I think the Afor Musum is a prison. I need to leave. I'm running out of food.

It's been months. I'm out of food... Tomorrow I'll have to eat one of the raiders' corpses.... I hope it isn't gross...

Something really strange happened. It's been three days since I started eating the delicious flesh of these stupid raiders, but each night the scratching gets louder and now.. my corpses have started disappearing...

I saw it.. I saw.. the creature it was outside my door.. On the camera.. it wants me.. It knows I've been stealing its food. The bones- all it was was bones and blood and skin- its skin was black like charcoal. Its teeth are daggers- daggers like sickles like my nightmares. I can't stop dreaming about food. I'm so hungry. I haven't left my room in nine days. I'm out of food.

The creature! It attacked me last night! Oh god, bring me back to the vault! Help me, someone! Anyone! The door- it wont hold another night, I don't know if I'll live.... I... anyone who finds this terminal... please.. RUN AWAY. RUN. DON'T LOCK THE DOORS. DON'T LOOK BACK.

This is probably my last night.

Edit: In all seriousness, how was the story? I dunno how I did. It felt stale to me. A bit skewed. Out of order.

Liked the story a lot, very good sense of shit-my-pants fear that a lot of people lack in RP servers.

Bit of a continuity error though when you say "I have 2 days of water left" and then you stay in the museum for 3 months.

It's more of open dialogue. You can assume he found more water in the basement, really, but to each his own.
For all you know, he survived without water and drank the blood or something.

Again, there's really no dating and his sense of time is pretty shitty as-is.
