For your information Nik3 Fallout technology didn't focus on microprocessors, it focused on nuclear technology, so the chances for a PDA WITH A TECHNICOLOR SCREEN are null.

My Vault 100 character has a pipboy, but i got auths :D.
How about you make apps for anything of the sort. PDA, pip boy, or anythingelse people can think of. So people can't make an excuse of: "But it isn't a pip-boy."
Like for the apps, they have to say how they found it, or something like that.

^^ This. And it cant be for some bullshit reason that "Oh I took mine off a vault dweller" or "Mine was a gift from such and such and I use it to be the lone wander"
Besides, from all the pip-boys I have yet to see people role-playing it out other then Pepsigod that one time...... And he used it medically on the battlefield to determined that said person (after being hit in the chest by an ant guard) had broken ribs.
If people do have the pip-boys I would like to see some role-playing with the item, then it just 'existing'

Well I just returned and now putting an end to this stupidty of handing items out.
Well, lets not forget if you put a pip boy on your arm your going to have alot of difficulty taking it off so if you tried getting it off expect to have a somewhat painfull experiance. Damn it, why cant some people just be the old fasioned cow boy?
Let them have a pip-boy. Aslong as they remember there's no such thing as VATS. For the rest, I'm fine. It's a good clock and radio.

Problem with Pipboys is that it is for Vault Dwellers and others who were lucky enough to get one intact.
It is supposed to be rare, more rare than power armor.

It's handheld and not used on the arm, and generally can be fit in your pocket.
