These apps are expected to be long and detailed, as this position is considered to be important, and only those with leadership capabilities and an actual education will be considered. If this is not the case for you, don't even bother writing an application.

Who are the Enclave: The Enclave are the descendants of the surviving members of the United States military and government after the Great War in 2077. Name:Section Commander Eric "The Demon" Sinclair
Sex: Male
Date of Birth: October 29, 2239 (age 38)

Height: 6'6"
Weight: 210 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown

Biography:
Like most of the Enclave, Eric is descended from a wealthy and influential West Coast family. The Sinclairs were a political force, hugely influential in West Coast politics though never actually holding office themselves.

The first Sinclair to serve in the Military was Robert Sinclair. Deployed to Alaska in 2076 to stem the Chinese tide, Robert quickly demonstrated an almost reckless bravery, earning him a squad leader position in the 56th Lightning Power Armor Division. After smashing the Chinese at Anchorage, the 56th was deployed to China. The 56th rampaged across China with a viciousness not seen since Sherman's infamous rampage across Georgia in the Civil War. The 56th was pulled off the line in later September 2077 and returned to the United States. Having seen firsthand the carnage in China, Robert knew that all-out nuclear war was very likely and he and his family made sure to get onto the Poseidon Oil Rig (where most of the nation's power relocated). The bombs fell in October 2077.

After the destruction of the Oil Rig in 2241 the remaining descendents of the Sinclair family (which had transitioned completely from being a political family to a military one after the heroics of Robert) rallied at Raven's Rock in the East Coast. Eric was 2 years old at the time and barely survived the rig's destruction, though he does not remember the events due to his youth.

In Raven's Rock, Eric followed the path of the rest of the family, enlisting in Junior ROTC during school and continued onto Power Armor training once he graduated ((I have no idea if ROTC was around in 2260, just go with it ok?)). A devoted history student, Eric was determined to carry on in the footsteps of Robert Sinclair (who was a minor legend for his actions in Alaska and China) as well as the great General George S. Patton. Found to have a brilliant tactical mind in simulations, Eric was not deployed with his unit but, much to his dismay, sent to Officer's School.

Eric abhorred Officer Training, feeling it a waste of his talents and a job for cowards. Although he was an excellent tactician, he yearned to be in the field. During his free time he made sure to keep current in weapons training. His favorite weapons were the heavy Gatling Lasers for the mess they made and the sheer volume of fire they put out, and an old revolver that had been passed down through the generations of the Sinclair Family.

When the Enclave revealed itself in 2277 on the East Coast, Eric led from the front, commanding a platoon of power armor soldiers from a Forward Operating Base near the Pentagon. Rumor had it that the Pentagon contained a possible superweapon that would very quickly make the Enclave the dominant force in the Wasteland. Charging into the Pentagon, the Enclave was surprised to find the Brotherhood of Steel already entrenched. Sinclair quickly recalled his forces, realizing an assault on the Pentagon would be murderouds and possibly useless should the superweapon not exist. Colonel Autumn, the Supreme Commander of the Enclave military agreed and pulled Sinclair's unit off the line.

The platoon was reassigned to guard Project Purity after its capture in the hope that the wastelanders would happily return to Enclave rule once pure water was available. The Brotherhood of Steel was not too fond of that idea and within hours after arrival, Sinclair's platoon faces a heavy counter attack. Despite being outnumbered by Brotherhood of Steel troops, Sinclair rallied his men for a counter attack. Knowing that the Enclave would surely lose a long-term seige, Sinclair went on the offensive, personally leading the charge against the Brotherhood. His gatling laser spewed hard light almost continuously until it was empty. Dropping it, Sinclair continued moving forward, demonstrating the legendary Sinclair courage. As rounds pinged off his power armor, Eric and his men slowly but surely pushed the Brotherhood back. After his Gatling laser ran dry, Sinclair withdrew his pistol, modified at the armory with a scope and firing explosive rounds ((Borderlands Revolvers FTW)) he continued dropping soldiers with well-aimed shots. When his pistol ran out, Sinclair continued advancing with his men, engaging Brotherhood of Steel members hand to hand with the trench spike mounted on his left gauntlet. Despite withering fire, the Enclave's Advanced Power Armor and superior training greatly outweighed the BoS's strength in numbers. As Vertibirds dropped in reinforcements, the BoS retreated, realizing the fight was lost and Project Purity was no longer theirs. The ferocity of Sinclair's fighting earned him the nickname "The Demon". Covered in the blood, dirt, and cordite from hours of hard fighting, he certainly looked like one.

Impressed by his leadership skills and his fearlessness, Autumn promoted Eric to Section Commander. Sinclair still regularly heads into the field with patrols. After the battle for Project Purity, Sinclair had his armor painted with blood red streaks...or at least people think it is paint. His presence on the battlefield causes the Enclave's enemies to quake with fear. A ruthless, efficient, and brilliant commander, Sinclair is a dangerous enemy and a loyal soldier to the President.

Pass Experience in leadership: Duty Sergeant. I don't have to get Sectional Commander really, I'm just hoping to get in it. I can't be active until December 25, anyways.

Who are the Enclave: The Enclave, a group comprised of the last remaining members of the U.S government. They maintain a chain of command mirroring that of pre-war administrations and are led by a president. They also possess a powerful military branch and have some of the most technologically advanced weapons at their disposal, even more so than the Brotherhood of Steel.

Why you want to apply: The Enclave has always been the coolest faction in the game. Plus, ripper and VertiBird ftw.

In Character background and Information for your character if you were chosen:
Name: Major Brian Gardner
Sex: Male
Age: 33
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 220lb

"What went wrong.", that had been the only thought Major Brian's had since boarding the Vertibird. It had been easy, they had stormed and taken control of the Project Purity facility. Then there were complications. First, that suicidal scientist called James sabotaged his own project and almost kill Colonel Autumn. Brian had to give the man credit, being able to sacrifice himself to keep his believed enemy away from his project. That is something that Brian could only hope and dream about in his solders. Even with his sacrifice it caused much of a problem after wards. Autumn had survived the mass of radiation he had been exposed to with no adverse side effects, but the project had been crippled.

Then James' spawn, the Lone Wanderer, walked all the way out in the wastes to Vault 87 and picked up the only known GECK. How he managed to halt himself out there. It had to be a man no women could have walked all the way there. Let alone if the recon reports were right wear the power armor that the reports showed him wearing. He had so nice as to after retrieving the GECK, he gave it to the Enclave. That's when thing had taken a turn. They should have taken the GECK and shot the Lone Wanderer right then and there, would have saved them the trouble and headache. Because, after wasting three weeks of waiting, asking, and torturing him for information. He should have been recruited into the Enclave, He would make an example for all of the personal. Instead he meets with President Eden, and then there's some kind of revolution over it were it was Colonel verses Eden. Brian couldn't even fathom why after so many years Autumn had decided to betray Eden. It didn't matter now, Raven Rock was destroyed. Brian had lost a lot of good solders, and even better friends in that explosion. He vowed that Lone Wanderer would pay for it all.

That was the first of many vows I've taken in these last months. Because the lone Wanderer wasn't satisfied by blowing up own base of operations, and killing own leader. No, he was just warming up. For his next trick he would walk all the way back to the Citadel. Though countless squads of what's left of the Enclave. To deliver the GECK to the Brotherhood of Steel. Then, they all decided to take back Project Purity. Not just with their elite squad and Lone, no they bring their new pet robot. That menace destroyed the Projects defenses. This time they finally killed Colonel Autumn. That must have pissed off Lone more then anything having to kill the Colonel three times before he was dead. To Brian, Autumn had always been a dick, and deserve red to die.

So, you'd think he was done taking back his Father's project and avenging his death. No, Lone seems to have a hatred for the Enclave as a whole. There was a ray of hope in all of this, Brian had personally been there and been the Commanding Officer when the Brotherhood's pet robot had been destroyed. That had been Brian's crowning achievement of his career. Lone responded to this by blowing the entire Adams Air Force Base, and leadership that was left in the Enclave

Which, let Brian's train of though back to the present, and the reason why he was in this VertiBird in the first place. Over the past few weeks he had rallied up what few Enclave personal, and came up with a plan. Unlike his few officers he was not satisfied with just letting the Brotherhood finish him off whenever they found where they were finding. No, if he was going to die was going to take as many of those armored boy scouts with him as he could. So, he recruited as many solders and VertiBirds as he could for his plan. Which, was to attack the Citadel and Project Purity at the same time in a surprise attack. Hopefully, the Brotherhood would be too stretched out around the wastes to really put up a fight at both locations. The hope was to show the Brotherhood they hadn't won the war just yet, and to take back one of the locations as a base of operations. Well, that was the plan at least, and Brian know it wouldn't be so cut and dry once the rounds started flying. These last few months had taught him that lessen loud and painfully.

The plan, to attack Project Purity, and The Citadel in one coordinated double strike. It had taken Brian three weeks to come up with this plan, and the eight VertiBirds full of fully armed solders, each with a score to settle with the Brotherhood, for each part of the mission. It was a simple plan, and that was the way it should be.

" Fifteen minutes out sir." called the pilot. Brian moved up to look out the front window. The Citadel was just coming into view.

"Good work pilot." stated brain.

"Thank you, sir."

'All right men, lock and load. It's going to be a busy day"

***

"Ten minutes out sir." Stated the pilot. Brian watched as his plan when into action. First, the twelve birds slated for Purity pulled away to LZs, which included Major Brian. For Brian this would end where it all started. Brian watched as the other birds made their course corrections in preparation fro their drops. Brian made last check on his new armor. No officer was wearing anything that would tell them apart from their men. So, those dim-witted Brotherhood crones wouldn't know which to target to "cut the head off the snake" so to speak. He slid the helmet on, it felt weird to be wearing a helmet after so long.

Then, a streak of light blue light shot out from the ground and struck the lead bird in the right wing. The bird angled to the right as the pilot struggled to keep it level enough to crash land.

" Son of bitch!" yelled one of the solders

"Stow it solder." braked Brian, he didn't need his solders getting rattled before to battle really got started. "All pilots, begin firing on the ground, and take evasive actions." commanded Brain though his radio. " The Brotherhood seem to have a new trick, lets show them our option of it."

" YES SIR, WITH PLEASURE." responded the pilots, almost in unison. The ground exploded into clouds of dust as all twelve birds started firing at anything that moved below them. More of those blue streaks started coming up from the ground. Whatever They were they were soon taught to keep their heads down. As every time they fired, their position was shot to pieces by the VertiBirds that could get a line on that position. So though Brain, the Brotherhood had engineered a new weapon to defeat VertiBirds with after he destroyed their pet robot. Interesting, maybe the Brotherhood wasn't as dumb as they seemed. Maybe they could create technology instead of just scavenging from pre war weapon caches. That was food for though for another time, right now Brain had bigger issues to attend to. As another one of his birds was struck by another anti-air round. This time it was struck in the tail wing, It swung around almost one-eighty degree as the pilot tried to avoid the other birds. It failed, what was left of the birds tail wing struck the front machine gun of the bird next to it, ripping the gun off the bird. Just then, Brian felt the bird shudder as the pilot started cursing.

"Damn boy scouts! Left wings been hit! Everyone, strap in. Were going to start experiencing turbulence." said the pilot.

"You hear the man! Ladies, seat belts on, and chair in the upright position." stated one of Brian's NCOs.

Pass Experience in leadership: Been on top of the military ever since Hybrid, and been leaders in SAMP and various other games.
Who are the Enclave: Remnants of the US military, who are the group that went underground after the nuclear war. They maintain the ideas of a president, or so their propaganda says. Some people they they are more of a dictatorship at this point. They have all the "latest" in weapons and robotics. They plan to purge the wasteland of all mutants and start anew.
Why you want to apply: I want to join the enclave for a few reasons. Always loved the military factions for one. And always loved the factions that have the supplies and gear to kick ass and take names. Along with bad ass suits.

Age: 28

Description: Average man, Brown hair and eyes. Born in the enclave bunker, raised on their propaganda, and sent out as a trooper. Scar on his right arm, and loves fire.

Background
"-ake up.... Man, Wake up!" Laying on the ground, he herd those words. Looking to his right he sees his helmet on the ground and a few shell casing scattering around it. "Man did you not just hear me? Wake up!", the sergeant said. Paul looked to his left and rolled on to his stomach to get up. While getting up he looked at the heap on wreckage in fount of him. The Veti Bird. "What happened?", he said. The Sergent perked up and said, "Don't remember much, Some rocket hit our right propeller, we are 3 klicks out from Ravens Rock." Paul walked over and picked up his helmet, putting it back on with a satisfying click. "If we leave now, we might not be spotted, chances are the barbarians that shot us down are on their way to loot." Paul nodded at the sergeant, picked up his plasma pistol, and fell in line with the sergeant as they began to walk. A few minutes later then ran into a raider group.

A few shots from weapons flew over head of the two soldiers followed the sergeant screaming, "Hit the deck!" Paul fell right behind him, and checked his pistol's ammo supply. While he was busy the sergeant was firing away at the raiders, who probably thought they were easy pray. They were dead wrong. The raiders weapons were outclassed by several generations, along with enhanced armor on the two. Two of the five fell immediately, taking hits to the torsos. Paul was busy firing away with the plasma pistol as the sergeant had a plasma rifle with a lot more accuracy. Two more fell, leaving the 5th one running. Paul smiled but the victory was short lived, the raider wasn't running from them, but from a few death claws on their way. Paul herd the sergeant say something under his breath, followed by a quick wave to follow him. While following the sergeant Paul herd the raider screaming, obviously been caught and now being ripped apart by the monsters.

The sergeant laughed a while later, recalling the screaming of the raider. "Poor sap didn't know what hit 'em". Now 1 Kick out, they had to pass some hard terrain. They could take the route with the Death claws or the route with the Raiders/Brotherhood of Steel/Traders. They decided to take the route with the humans, "Much easier to kill", the sergeant stated. Walking up hill, Paul started asking why they did not look for an outpost instead. The sergeant blatantly replied he had no idea where they were, and was going by the sun. Paul Gulped. He didn't sign up for this, he was the engineer! He was suppose to be hacking computers and repairing the androids. Not doing this crap. Suddenly he herd a crackle of his radio come to life. "*Static* -elp *Static* -eel are *Static*" The sergeant replied, "Here that? We got somethin' to kill!" They ran in the direction of the transmission and emerged over the hill to see a massive battle going on, Enclave had their androids out fount, although highly outnumbered by the Brotherhood of steel, were killing everything. While the enclave were trying to suppress a certain group of the brother hood. "Now is our chance for a promotion boy", as he ran down the hill.

Scampering after him Paul primed his pistol almost dropping it a few times, and ran behind the mound with the sergeant. The sergeant took out a grenade and threw it over the top, seconds later with a satisfying *Boom*. The sergeant ran over the top blazing away with his plasma rifle, as Paul just sat there in awe about how damn brave he was, when suddenly he got hit in the shoulder and went down like a pound of bricks. Paul was stunned for a second, thinking he was dead, until he rolled over. While he was moaning and chuckling on the ground a random Brotherhood soldier ran over and was about to shoot him point blank. Paul raised his pistol, obviously not seen by him, and popped him with 2 of the 4 shots he took. The sergeant continued to roll around, and attempted to get up. Paul Went over the top, and the only thing he could think of is he was going to get shot, but for some reason did not care. Paul ran over, grabbed the sergeant under the arms with him screaming, and pulled him back behind the mound. Paul opened up his pack and grabbed a stimpack. Stabbing it into the sergeant, he moaned and then went more limp. Paul Grabbed his radio, and said into it,"I need a medic over here!" a few enclave emerged through the smoke and dove behind the mound with them. From there it was a peice of cake.

Pass Experience in leadership: Im starting out my own business in RL, don't know if that counts as leadership.. I've been admin in Stalker for over a year now. I've been an admin in multiple counter-strike servers. I've been a leader of organizations in SA-MP, and those are very organized. In other words, I think I'm able to handle this.

Who are the Enclave: The Enclave is a militaristic organization, directly descended from the United States government and military industrial complex. The Enclave claims to still have authority over the ravaged country that lies in ruins. A closer look at the Enclave shows that the people involved in it are the last pure-strain humanity left, other than the locked vaults. Members of the Enclave generally do not consider radiated or "infected" people to be human any more. The Enclave is a very powerful group in technology, mentally, and physically, considering they have scientists doing research on new armor, and weapons.

Why you want to apply: I want to place a lot of effort into a faction, and not just a small faction, but a big one. I want to apply because It will not only increase my leadership skills, but also will allow me to be even a bigger member of HGN.

Age: 34                                    Body Type: Muscular/Slim

"Frost dashes down a long hallway, a plasma rifle clenched within his hands, as desperate screams filter over the radio, plasma fire echoing across the entire bunker. Just as he reaches the end, the noise begins to fade into the background slowly. A single cry remaining fully audible to him, his head pounding at each word. 'After... Him... Frost...' He slides around the corner of the hall, rapidly raising himself from the ground, doubling his pace forward. Another frantic scream smashes at his ear drums, as a figure holding tightly to a plasma rifle bursts out into the very end of the hallway, from the med-bay. His eyes widen, as he watches the figure turning away from him, yelling out 'Hold it!' He pushes forward, running as quickly as he can.

Suddenly, a slow-motion aura begins to engulf him, teasing him with each effort made to reach his target, his surroundings become blurred. Only making slight progress against the otherworldly force, his face becomes horror struck, as a metallic figure exits from the med-bay as well, firing off several blasts of plasma at the the target. His mouth opens, trying to yell out to him, but it is inaudible. The fleeing rebel jolts heavily, two large glowing holes visible in his stomach. The guy looks up to Frost, their eyes locked in meeting, then his rifle loosens from his hands... His body slowly falling forward. He screams out again, in silence, capturing the victory of the day.

Frost's eyes snapped open, his entire body shaking with each thundering beat of his heart, a cold sweat pouring down him in his small bunk. His eyes wonder around the quarters, until he finds his freshly laid out suit ready for him. As he slowly puts the suit onto himself, he still wonders about the dream he had. The day the body of an enemy fell, was the day he got promoted. It feels as if it was not so long ago, when it has actually been almost a year since the encounter. He slowly exits his quarters, and walks away, as the door to his room closes.

As Frost approaches his Sector Commander, he turns nervous, not knowing what's coming today. "Pack your bags Frost, you're movin' out..." was what his Commander told him. Surprised as he is, he was not expecting this at all. Frost is being taken into a new location, which means new orders. Leaving this place was the last thing he wanted. But orders were orders, Frost had to go to his new location.

He closes his eyes, leaving everything inaudible except his thoughts as the ground begins to lift. The curiosity is killing him, as he doesn't know exactly why he is being moved, and for how long. But Frost stays frost, and he turns confident. As Frost and his new 'companions' approach their destination, he begins to get filled in with information. Hes been told, a new Enclave base is growing underneath the soils, and dozens of ranks are flying in from around the country into this new base. When the ground settles down, all the men hop out, and line up. Apparently there isn't a Sector Commander for this location yet. That means Frost is no longer taking orders from his old Sector Commander, now it's the President who gives the orders to him.

The lights flicker on, as he steps into his new quarters. "Not so bad..." he thinks to himself. Maybe this new place might actually be good, or even better than my old. As his luggage drops to the floor, he notices a note on the table nearby. Although this wasn't just any note, this was a note only to the High Command inside the base. This was a chance of becoming the Sector Commander..."
