Along with that music request ive said. Ive added the book system and i am looking for some nice interesting fallout-like books. Something for other players to have fun reading, serious cannon or just something extra ingame.

Things it can be like:
Roleplay guides
Character Bio's
Stories
Leaflets.

You can make them up yourself, just make sure they are good. Post them here and don't forget to include the name of the writer\users involved in the book. Preferably your ic name or a realistic name for the person. These books are abit of fun as players can buy your book ingame, but still a serious matter. Some books may be alright to be put into stalker roleplay and half life 2 roleplay also.

I don't have anything written for FalloutRP yet, but I can do some writing later.  I do have a few books written for Hl2RP however, as that was what I used to spend all my time playing.  This is a funny take on the Communist Manifesto, basically making it a Combine Manifesto for Loyalists like Breen.  If you like it you can put it into the game.  Just remember to include the author  ;) hehe.

The Universal Union's Manifesto

Part One: Introduction & Facts

   A being of immense power holds sway over the world, and the world has accepted it for what it is.  A savior in a time of darkness.  Though many have made unholy alliances to try to fight this power, they shall not succeed.  Why has no progress been made yet?  Because this being is indestructible.

   Two things result from this fact:

1.This power has been accepted by the worlds government, it is the new government.  They are the ones protecting us and keeping us safe.
2.It is time that we as Citizens recognize the truth of the matter, accept their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this new power and become a part of it.  A part of the Universal Union.

Part Two: Citizen and The Union

   The history of our world is rife with corruption and war.  It is a history of struggles.  Always have groups stood in opposition of each other, fighting in the open and in the shadows.  These fights have always led to destruction, to desolation, and to death.  Why did we accept this?  We might never know.

   Throughout history we find in every society a complicated arrangement of various orders, factions, religions, and ranks.  Always they have been fighting for supremacy over each other.  Like the slaves over their masters, or the nobles over their king.  We have done away with such petty squabbling, despite human nature trying to bring it back.  We have established new and fair classes, and new forms of lifestyles in which all are equal, and all have purpose.  There does not need to be any struggle.

   Society has a strange way of splitting into two hostile camps.  Only at certain times do they ever directly face each other, and usually with devastating repercussions.  So far it is taking time for this conflict to build, but when it finally does we will weep for our world.  Do not allow this to happen.  Let all work together to improve the lives of all.

   There is hope.  If a Citizen does their part, causing their fellows to do the same, then across the world will spread like a wave peace and development.  If every Citizen works, if every man and woman behaves, and shows what humanity can do, then we will become a true member faction of the Union.

   As each Citizen has their part to play in the development of humanity, so too does the Union itself.  The Union provides us with clean food and water.  This food and water is given to us three times a day, enough of it to completely slake our thirst and hunger, and perfectly balanced with everything we need to survive, and even thrive.

   The Universal Union protects us, not only from our own self destructive habits, but from other creatures and factions we cannot yet even comprehend.  Humanity was dying as creatures from unnameable worlds poured into our own, forcing us further and further back into our decaying cities.  The Union has beaten these monsters back, and has provided us a safer haven then we have ever had before in our history.

   The Universal Union has also provided us with their advanced technologies and limitless knowledge.  Modern lifestyles, healthcare, food, public services, and more have all been improved past the standards of the old post portal storm world.  If both the Citizen and the Union do as they must, and function as they should, then a golden age is on the horizon for the Earth.

Part Three: Loyalists and Citizens

   In what relation do the Loyalists stand to the population as a whole?  The Loyalists do not consider themselves above the regular populace, indeed, it can even be said that they have the exact same interests as a regular Citizen.  They have but a different viewpoint.  They do not have any principles of their own, but rather improve their view with the interests of that of the Union.

   Loyalists can be distinguished from a regular Citizen by this only:

1.In the struggle for supremacy the point out and bring to front the common interests of the Citizen, while holding to the principles of the populace as a whole.
2.In the world, as a whole group, they always represent the movement of the Universal Union and the population of Citizens as a whole.

   The Loyalists, therefore, are on one hand the allies of the most technologically advanced and resolute side of the struggle, the Union, but on the other they are a smaller part of the general populace, the great mass of Citizens.  However, Loyalists have understanding of the human condition, and the ultimate results of fully bonding with the Union.

   The immediate aim of the Loyalists is this, the transformation of the Citizens of Earth into that of the Union.  We have seen the first steps of this, the metamorphosis of the human race into that of a position and a part within the council of the Universal Union.

   

Part Four: Steps To Enlightenment

   In the beginning of humanity's ascent to the global stage, some steps of development can only be brought about by what seems to be despotic and hostile means.  However, these are necessities in order to build further inroads on our social order.  They are unavoidable as means of revolutionizing us, as a species.

   These measures of course will one day be changed and ratified as we take full stock of our situation on a universal scale.  Nevertheless we must accept such decisions stoically, as they will be applied to everyone without exception.

1.Removal of all ownership of property or land, replaced by renting of housing to Citizens.
2.A standard income for all Citizens.
3.Standard distribution of food and water to each Citizen.
4.Removal of all past personal effects.
5.Revitalization of the economy and the replacement of currency as one standard world currency.
6.Control over communication and transportation.
7.All factories and businesses to be reformed and used in accordance to Union standards.
8.Equal obligation of work, each Citizen must do their part for their world and species.
9.Removal of all memory of the past, failed, civilization; and implementing the procedure of intense urbanization, and the renaming of said cities.
10.Free and instant re-education made available for all.

   When, after a course of time, these developments have been made and have succeeded, humanity will take its place in the stars with Earth as our flourishing throne world.  All old conditions will have been swept away, and in the place of our old society will stand a civilization free of any antagonism, fear, and the inability to see what our actions will do in the future.  It might be said that this will remove our humanity, but that only means we will become something far greater then what we were before.

Well I'm an IRL writer too. :P

Yes I'm both a businessman and a writer. The businessman thing is actually much newer than the writer thing. Though I'm more of a fiction writer than an informative writer. If/when we make such a survival guide, we should have a similar forum post to critique and improve it until we're satisfied.
