Granted some things will HAVE to stay the same, should we stick to the same locations all the other servers are doing (California, DC, etc) or make up our own and see where it goes?
I, for one, would be honored to help develop the "storyline" and background of the server but instead of just writing it and forcing it upon the server (which would most likely recieve instant and tremendous opposition) I've come to the humble conclusion of merely asking what we as a community would like to see.
I've already got a few heartwarming and adrenaline-incinting ideas making me restless and edgy, but truly it would be counterproductive if it was all for naught.
So what is it that the server and staff want?

Ohay, first segment was a joke at SRP's Canon, second part was my opinion, third part was a shamwow reference.
TO re-iterate and expand, I think we should stick to Storyline canon, but have our server placed elsewhere, so it's fresh, new, and has something that the other FO RP servers don't have.
Even more so, alot of the tech and such, would be the same (with obvious exeptions), but there'de be a different location, i.e instead of DC we can do...I don't know American places so I can't really say, but you know what I mean.

Silver and the other HA's will decide what Canon shall be used, whether it pertains to the original storyline, a completely new storyline, or even continues from Fallout 3.
This idea will be looked after and you might have a chance to wright the Canon.

I think we dont have to completely follow the guide lines of fallout. I mean add our own little spice but keep it in the realm. Like no Strelok runing around in fallout.

There would be no ghoul, and Enclave wouldn't exist. Your idea is not plausible.

It's simple logic. We go into a time that hasen't been experienced yet, and we make our own rules in our RP. Sure, we would keep the basic ideas of Fallout, but could edit small things.

That's what it is now isn't it? 2260? The problem with that is a lot of people (myself included) haven't played FO2 or FO1 and wouldn't really know what was going on in that time period. Plus a lot of the factions would be a bit of a mess (ie the Enclave would be fucked up, the Outcasts may or may not even exist yet, the BoS would be small, etc). I think putting it shortly after FO3 solves this problem as most players know what happens in FO3.

You could read all that, but it would still leave question. Were the Brotherhood of Steel East outside the Capital Wasteland? Were the Outcasts? What was the Enclave doing at the time with no real leadership?

Silver....shut the fuck up.Wasteland,Fallout 1,2,tactics and bos were made by Black Isle which is interplay. Fallout 3 is made by bethesda and now fallout newvegas is being made by obsidian which contains ALOT of people from black isle including the writer from black isle which I am very excited. TBH bethesda fucked up on fallout.
