After several days of walking through the desert they came upon a small group of slavers 5 in all his father told him to watch as he went to go free the slaves, his father left him with a hunting rifle for defense if anything bad happened or snuck up on him.But things took turn for the worse the worse, as his father approached them, one the slavers open fired on him and gunned him down.

The man clear his voice and said "Ohio." To his utter surpise Landon didn't realize how far he had traveled and ask how far is the nearest town the man said "About 50 miles from here but, watch out there's slavers and metal people."
Landon ask "Did these metal people asked for lasers guns and plasma guns." The man said shook his head and said "They big yellow eyes and black suits and kill anyone they meet." Landon was surprised by this new threat and took the man the advice and continued onward. After about a week he came upon Rust Town and wandered right in,many of the people in town seemed hostile toward the man in coat with letters that read NCR.Deciding this wasn't a good place to stay he left the town and set up camp about half a mile away, after setting his camp up keeping a watch for eye over the wastelanders and the town.

Which you are applying for: Special Character - Mother
Why do you want this Char? Motherhood, as a theme, is something that is never explored in roleplay or games. I actually had the concept during a debate with a few friends last night about women characters in video games, and someone said, "Women can't be treated the same as men, they have kids." And in the ensuring debate, we realised something - no game truly explores the concept of motherhood as a main character. I have never even considered it, from a roleplay standpoint... hence this.
By applying you accept the responsibilities of having the char, and know that by having this char it may be removed if found that you are abusing: Yes, of course, but I fail to see how it could possibly be abused.
Proof of admin support: Tom's support here. While I don't have proof, cannoninspector and Blake both liked the idea, but said I should apply.

I said I'd support you having one child not three -Blake
Sorry! You are right, that was my mistake.

Character Name: Águeda Garzèla
Age: 35
Sex: Female
Backstory:

Águeda was born to a large commune of Mexican tribals, immigrants to the Mississippi river from the remnants of the US-Mexico border. For the most part, they managed to get by quite well, co-operating, farming, scavenging, and managing to keep everything together. As she grew older, becoming an adult, she started working on the mechanical work the settlement required, fixing up old turrets, guns, and purifiers, and managing to get by. Life was uneventful. She had a few brief relationships, yet nothing serious. As she approached her late twenties, and at the urging of her elderly mother, she found a man she could tolerate, someone who promised to love and protect her, and married him.

They had two kids together. Marlina was a vibrant, happy child, always staring at something on the decaying, rusted roof, and laughing whenever someone bent over her. She adored her father, constantly standing by his side whenever he came home. Yet where she was vibrant and healthy, her younger brother, Rafael, was tearful and sickly, born early and barely surviving in the filth of the wasteland. Medicine and treatment was a constant necessity, and a not insignificant source of strife in the household.

Soon, a third child came, Águeda's stomach rising in the normal way, as her mother cheerfully watched her two grandchildren play. Working while pregnant was exhausting, but she managed, somehow. She didn't have a choice - her husband could barely feed the family, and items such as medicine for Rafael, dolls for Marlina, or a future cot for the newcoming child... they did not come free.

She was working when she first saw the mutants charge against the gates of the settlement, smashing against it with their fists, their howls echoing through the sky. Men rose from their houses, grabbing weapons and taking aim, while she desperately fled, hands shielding her stomach as she ran to her house. The kids were crying, Marlina reaching out for her father's leggings as he ran outside , Rafael stumbling on short legs as he waddled over to her, tears streaming down her face.

And as she glanced out the window, seeing a super mutant break down the gates, and smash a man's head into red paste with his fists... she made her decision. Scooping up a small knapsack and filling it with food, water, and whatever valuables she could fit, she pulled it on her back, scooped up her two children, and ran.

And God help her, she ran until every breath felt like she was breathing in embers, until her legs felt like lead and her arms burnt from the exertion of carrying two young children, and still, she ran, listening to the screams, gunfire, and explosions in the distance. When she could no longer run, she jogged, listening to the panicked sobs of the two children in her arms, and when she could jog no longer, she walked. She kept going straight ahead, unsure of her direction, but it didn't matter. She just kept going... going until the screams of mutants had faded into the distance, and, possibly... it was safe.

The three kids are fed through Águeda's work, and held in a well-secured location. Marlina's seven, Rafael is four, and the youngest, Marcos, is a mere nine months. While she's reluctant to leave them, she can't take care of them without caps, and spent a significant amount on a small reprogrammed turret, setting it just inside the door, and praying it will keep them alive. Her children are, quite literally, her world, and whenever she is not working, she stays with them, feeding them, nursing them, and giving them all the love she has.

Why should it be in the Bluegrass Wasteland? It is no detriment or advantage to anyone, but rather adds a new dimension, a fantastic element to a character that should promote a lot of development, while still being utterly realistic.

Aceepted. On the simple condition that you only have ONE IC baby. Aby complaints or dicking around and this char will be removed faster thanthan a falling brick.

I did, and have not yet come back. On the off-chance I do, (and because I very much want to see this application become accepted or denied, after working on it for so long) I would like an answer. :)
