Judonian troops landed early in the day, in the east of the Omneculomian Library. Without resistance from local forces, Judonian marines quickly destroyed the Library, killing its keepers, and burning its books. Judonian forces put their sites on Rubberwood after the destruction, meeting little resistance from Aridellian forces present in the area. The destruction of Rubberwood forced the Aridellian people to evacuate to the nearby town of Arefu. Later in the day, Judonian forces began the assault on Arefu, with resistance from newly formed and armed Aridellian militias, until, in a surprise attack, Mardrian forces landed to the south of Arefu and engaged Judonian forces, pushing them back to Canderous Fields.

At Canderous Fields, Judonian technomages speared a counter assault against Mardrian forces. The Mardrian forces had ignored Aridellian militias, who, during the battle, evacuated to the seas, seeking refuge at the Rubyroot settlement. Meanwhile, at Canderous Fields, the Mardrian forces had been successfully flanked on both sides, and were surrounded by Judonian troops, who swiftly pushed them to sea, causing the Mardrian forces into a naval retreat, and leaving casualties on both sides.
