Title: SRP: Donator Benifits and Awards
Post by: Silver Knight on 25-05-2009
DONATOR BENIFITS AND AWARDS

Please donate, we need funds to help upkeep ourservers, any donation will help stem the tide of our incoming bills from upkeeping such a great and helpful community.

(https://forums.hypergamer.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg716.imageshack.us%2Fimg716%2F4508%2Fstalkerdonatorintro.png&hash=34d2349c5e3b6325e4ce08fd23f99aeebc12f12f)
Here are the stages in which to achieve flags on SRP. Every donation you make towards flags on srp adds up onto your total to have more flags. So if you donate 50 you get both experienced and veteran flags and you can gain the master stage by donating another 50. This stage system allows both HGN and the donators to benifit because the donations upkeep the server and allows you to get rewarded for donating.

Why not enable singular-purchasing? IE: Buy flags on their own, example:
Experienced donator flags cost five dollars per piece, so Experienced-Mercenary, Experienced-Bandit, Experienced-Stalker and Bloodsucker cost five dollars each; and make custom forum colours and title an optional extra for one dollar each.

I offered to donate 20 GBP to have one of my characters gain the 'Veteran Loner' flag, but Sk denied the offer ...
20 GBP, for a single flag, why deny it?

Set up a new account solely for paypal?
Title: Re: Donator Benifits and Awards

That means getting time off work, and being able to go to my bank, considering bank times are stupid over here.
Plus transfering funds into paypal takes something stupid inbetween 5-7 days.

Umm.. I've played the two STALKER games, not pripyat. But I never knew the Stories...
But I know that DUTY is having bases for STALKERS like DUTY (In HL2RP) Is CP's and STALKERS are Citizens right? Then Freedom kill STALKERS for freedom??
But what does Merc do? I can be that class when I'm on the EXP roster.

Freedom don't kill stalkers, I'd also imagine most stalkers would be friendlier to freedom than they are to Duty

Yes! Total amount of donations sets your donator status.
Title: Re: Donator Benifits and Awards
Post by: keyfoot on 20-02-2010
so, you can firts pay 20$ for exp flags
Then pay 30 more for veteran  (20+30=50)
Then save up to, or pay payments to 50 for master flags (20+30+50=100)
Title: Re: Donator Benifits and Awards

I think it's better if you just pay $25 every month or two until you reach master, or want to continue donating.

This isnt the place to question that.... But Ill do it anyway.

Its mostly there. And to honest, Freedom doesnt really kill anything nowa days . . . more just die.

Your misinformed, That is the meaning of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which are monolith agents i.e. Marked One. Stalker is just a general term for anyone in The Zone.

Meaning there is a big fucking difference between S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Stalker.

Also dont most of them have tat's on there arms also...Like strelok. Since C-CON would take certain Stalkers and brainwash them and what not to make them do stuff besides being a monolith.

Yep, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is always tattooed on the left arm. While the U.C.K.I. can be tattooed anywhere.

Prostitution -_-

You also do not need to donate it all at once. It's cumulative so if you donate $50 one month and then a few months later you donate $20 and then $30 you'd be at the $100 tier.

Paypal is very useful. If you have a checking account, you can have a paypal account. I use paypal soooo often, I highly recommend you talk to your parents about getting a checking account/debit card so you can use it.

I understand your concern, but it's to keep people donating and rewarding them over a period of time, HGN relys on donations to stay up and the rewards although they may be interesting are not required to play the game.

Hopefully not too high, they die in 4 shots from an Ak in the Stalker games, so I say Experienced status.
It's not exactly a privilege to play as the dumbest and weakest mutant in Stalker.

Agreed, the only way they will work is when people group together with them, so the Experienced status makes sense.

Yesterday Paintcheck was roleplaying as a blind dog of the DUTY leader and I thought that was a good idea. STALKERs if they come in contact with a tame blind dog should be able to use them like hunting dogs or somthing, but they should ahve to have auths likewise with the dog for it to be tame.

Agreed. We can't have every one being someone's pet, in the Stalker games only the oldest and most experienced zone Inhabitants have managed to gain trust with a dog.
Authorizations and selected picking of dogs should be the way to select who should be someones pet, this should be a very rare instance.

QuoteDonating for money
Players may donate for money using these packages bellow, note we keep it fairly priced to avoid players unbalancing the game. If you desire a size not shown bellow, then it is suggested that you donate for multiple ruble packs.

Pack 1: 5000 Rubles - 15 bucks
Pack 2: 10000 Rubles 25 bucks
Pack 3: 100000 60 bucks

Blackops or SRP? HRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....

Why anyone would donate for ingame money is beyond me, But if someone is willing to pay for it (Which all the the little sites floating around selling gold is testimate to people wanting to buy gold) Then by all means I suppose.

Well think about it... If traders sold exos at a controlled price (wich they don't because they're capitalists now) of 200k that would be $120 for one. The prices are priced good enough to were it won't really affect the server economy too much and the positives of the donated money outweigh the low risk negatives of the server economy.

I would think it would have a special condition, either the money is carried over, if not fully used.

Or it could apply to getting the first level donate status.

We offer donations for rubles already, it's not a big deal and it won't hurt the economy either. You only get the money once and you won't loose it. We won't be doing a wipe for a very long time.

Weird, because in your original post, you said that if one were to donate, they would have to contact you in many different ways, whichever one may choose. Those options included more than private messages.

As they are common, and if they become 20 or 50, they should be roleplayed.

This should not happen. I don't care what your 'Class' is, you're still a humanoid. Being a Bloodsucker does not mean every fiber of your being is made of steel. Maybe that explains how they're 700-800 lbs at 7 feet? Or maybe how they're agile as Yorty's cats?

I am sorry but the reason donations exist is to upkeep the servers, if we could we wouldn't have any donation schemes so everyone could enjoy the same experience. We run a stage system and award players per how much they have donated to upkeep the server.
