Biography:Date Unknown -- My short biography, by Wolfgang
My name is Wolfgang Dmitri Petrinov. I was born in Липецк [Limpesk], Russia. I had a small family, with two parents. My father was a Red Army soldier, and my mother...well she was just a housewife. My father, heh, I barely got to see him. Yet, he was such an important figure in my life. Whenever he had the chance, he would return home to see me. We'd play baseball, and some other games. Well, other than that, I was taught in a local school, where I met many friends. We wore uniforms, suit-like uniforms to school everday. I did not know why we had to do this, but I had no problem with it. As I grew older, and my parents did as well, my father eventually passed away. I spent my years up to age 19 caring for my mother, and then I decided I must move on with my life. I left for the Red Army, and was trained as a soldier. They took the recruits, including me, and packed us all aboard a large ship. It was then that I realised what I was inside. It was no ordinary ship, but a space ship. We would be heading to space! I was so excited. Later, I would find out the horros that lie within the magnificent planets beyond Earth.

Date Unknown -- First stop
Our first stop was a planet called X-2234. I did not know what it stood for, but the entire ship crew was terrified. We grabbed our gear, and departed onto the planet. Darkness filled the skies, and dead trees were everywhere. I heard the howling of some animal in the distance. It sounded like a wolf, but I knew it wasn't, and this is what scared me. The trees and bushes seemed to move on their own. I felt a tingling feeling go up my spine. I wanted to get out of this place, I needed to get out of this place. We saw a dark cavern, illuminated by a lantern hanging above it. My squad and I approached the cavern. Our Sergeant went in first, then motioned for us to follow. My heart raced as we plunged into the dark cavern. We knew perfectly well the horrors that awaited us, but we went in anyway.

Date Unknown -- Escape
Upon entering the cavern, we saw rotting corpses everywhere. The smell of death flowed into my nostrils, making me want to vomit right there. My friend Peter could not hold it in. He let out a steaming river of vomit, all over the ground. Stepping in it, my Sergeant slapped him "Get your head out of your asshole, Peter." he said. I chuckled, and then turned on my flashlight, illuminating the dark hallway. Not to my surprise, I found a wall of bodies, taller than me, covering the rest of the hallway. This time I vomitted, only increasing the terrible smell. "C'mon then, lets get out of here" said the Sergeant. We turned our backs, to head towards the entrance. Suddenly, it callapsed inward. We were trapped! My heart raced faster than ever, and then we heard a chirping sound behind the wall of bodies. Turning around slowly, I saw a claw come through the bodies, then a head. It look like a bug, a VERY big bug. "Guns ready!" yelled our Sergeant. I unholstered my AK, aiming at the mound of bodies. "FIRE!" he yelled. I smashed my finger onto the trigger, letting the entire clip of bullets flow into the bodies. The bug died, its claw falling over onto our side. I sighed with relief. Right after I took this sigh, we heard more chirping. Then, two claws smashed in...then three...then four. I almost shit my pants. "Someone get C4 on the entrance!" yelled the Sergeant. We were being forced to blow our way out. Peter grabbed his C4, throwing it onto the entrance. "Three, two, one! Pull the detonator!" yelled the Sergeant. I turned around. Peter had a heart attack, and was laying on the ground. I ripped the detonator from his hands, and blew the exit. Grabbing Peter, I threw him over my back, and we rushed for the ship. I held my AK with one hand, aiming it behind my back as I ran. The Sergeant was infront of me, turned around and firing at the bugs with his PKM. I let out bursts of bullets, the recoil causing the stock to hit my hip each time. "Open the doors, OPEN THE DOORS!" screamed my Sergeant into the radio. As the doors flew open, two turrets were revealed. "Thank god" I yelled. They unloaded into the bugs, and we ran onto the ship. I dropped Peter, and we sat down. "Medic, over here!" I yelled. A medic came rushing to Peter, and began to treat him immediatly. The doors closed, and the ship took off. "What about the other squads?" I asked. "The other squads are dead. You and Delta are the only survivors, Delta had made it on seconds before you." said our Commanding Officer. I sighed, feeling as if I were lucky we got trapped in a cave. They told us that there could be no turning back now, and our next stop was a planet called "Desertia". It sounded like a tropical planet, and I hoped it would be. Then, I did not know, what awaited me on the planet....

Date Unknown -- Desertia
We approached the Desert planet. I peered out from the large windows on the upper deck of the ship, staring at it. I hoped it was everything I thought it would be. I hoped to see young ladies, and tropical waters, and free Vodka. All I saw was desert. I sighed. The ship came to a stop, and slowly lowered itself onto the planet. "This is where you get off" said the CO. All I could see was desert. Delta came with us this time, and we traveled in a pack. Peter, who had been treated for his heart attack, was with us again. I hoped only the best for him. We traveled in a large group, walking across the desert and scanning it for life. Unfortunatly...life found us first.
