Why make a character page?

Character a very important for all players on Desertia, and are used in a variety of scenarios:

1. This is very important to have a GOOD, THOUGHT OUT, NEAT, AND A BACKSTORY THAT MAKES SENSE when applying for a faction, the faction leaders will read our entire character page and decide whether to accept you or not. So don't half-ass your page or it will come back to bite you.

2. Admins can use it for certain events, see who would fit the description to take part in events. (You may even have an event based around your character)

3. Admins can also use it to "look you up" for bonus perks like admin and Tool Trust, If you have a really good page. That increases your chances

4. Simply, It shows us how well you can RP, an original backstory and really long character description shows us that you have a lot of RP skill.

5. They can count as IC records for RP purposes IE.(An XEM representitave can pull up your file and see if you are deserving/not deserving of an job, reward or whatever he seems fit)
