The Rule Book

These rules were written originally by Stingwraith, and modified by the admin team over the years.

Inserver Rules:

1. Have Common Sense. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

2. Be polite, and be mature. At all times.

3. Treat others how you would want to be treated.

4. Respect the administrators and follow what they say. If they punish you for a reason, don't complain and take it since you deserved it. If you suspect abuse, report it to another admin for their deliberation.

5. If you've got to argue, take it to the forums, or Steam Friends. You will be punished for excessive and disruptive arguments.

6. Do not spam the OOC chat.

7. Do not complain about the OOC delay. It is there for a reason, stay quiet, and roleplay.

8. Respect and be nice to eachother. Keep it clean. Do not over-use swear words.

9. Let the Admins do their job. If you've got a problem, they'll deal with it when they are able.

10. Racism, ethicism, sexism, and social discrimination is prohibited, and enforced to the fullest.

11. Sexually Explicit Role-Play of any kind is forbidden on the server. Violators will be banned immediately.

12. Do not complain about Perma-Kills. They are acceptable and permanent when under the following conditions:

13. Don't ask the administrators to make your choices for you.

14. Roleplay fairly, maturely, and seriously. Powergaming, metagaming, and horseplay are NOT ALLOWED.

15. Keep your RP as canon and serious as possible. If you do act incharacter in ways that deviate from our accepted views, or do not RP in an appropriate-enough manner, you will be told to stop. If you do not like it, you can appeal, but the administration team has the final word on things.

16. Uncanon RP will be addressed. If the player does something which violates the established canon of the RP, they will be told to correct it. If they do not, they may be punished.

17. Enjoy yourself. Try not to be so uptight. Have fun! :D

Follow all of these rules to avoid punishment or banishment.

Forum Rules:

1. Stay on topic. If you derail a thread, you will be given a warning. Three warnings = ban.

2. Keep idiotic comments to yourself or your designated TROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL section.

3. Have common sense when posting. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

4. Trolling and/or flaming is not allowed.

5. Explicit 18+ content (porn, hentai, so on) is not allowed on the forums ever.

6. Racist, ethicist, fascist, or religious insults are not allowed.

7. Respect and be nice to eachother. Keep it clean, and only argue in the proper sections. Do not over-use swear words.

8. Be mature at all times.

9. Read the thread, and consider the content in it before you post.

10. Post in the RIGHT FORUM. Think about it before you post, is it the right section to post in?

11. Look for a thread to post in first. If there's already a "G-mod" thread. Post it in there instead of making a whole new thread.

12. Don't ask the administrators to make your choices for you.

13. Don't make a thread containing just a link and little or no explanation. Make sure you explain everything in the thread.

14. Pointless thread necroing, which is defined by posting in an inactive thread that is more than 2 weeks old without further contributing anything substancial to the actual topic, is disallowed.

Follow all of these rules to avoid punishment or banishment.

Administrative Rules:

1. Do your job, and do it well.

2. Use Judgment, Reason, and Rationality in order to make your Administrative Decisions.

3. Respect others' decisions, actions, and opinions, even if they conflict with your own.

4. Do not let personal Bias allow you to ignore proper judgment.

5. Realize that not everyone is like, or thinks like, you. Everyone is different, and you must acknowledge and accept that.

6. Remember that you are NOT ABOVE the law. Do not break rules and think it's alright just because you are an Admin.

7. Respect all your fellow Admins. If you have a dispute with another Admin, it becomes Public Domain, and will be resolved as such.

8. Administration is a Privilege and a Responsibility, and we will be quick to revoke it if we deem it necessary.

9. Your abilities are a responsibility as well as a tool. Use it for anything but that, and you'll be removed.

10. All admins may be subject to immediate and unwarned revoking of their position for whatever reason, and at any time. Because of this, you should be on your best behavior at all times.

Follow all of these rules, or you will be removed from the Administration team, and possibly banned.

Fixed. SRP is surprisingly tame compared to lots of other places. But yeah bansticks for that tend to work very well, doubt it will be a problem.
