Pretty much this. I don't intend to develop this time around, be more of a background figure, development in gmod and playing gmod is over for me but i care for srp and if people still want it then the opportunity is there all i will be providing is the domain\webhosting personally. It would be up to other people to run the server.

I Know. I usually switched over to Aceon when Caphori was being silent.
Or some other game. As much as I enjoyed Caphori, I was really one of the only Mods to be on as much as possible.

There has been clockwork leaks so it's fairly straight forward.
I can confirm that we now have a dedicated box that we will be using, courtesy of PictoWolf, we will startup with a teamspeak server and work on getting a srp server backup. As to who will be running srp or developing it is still to be determined.
As stated previously i will remain founder and hold the chairmans seat however will not be getting involved much with either development or serverside issues in regards to srp. I may still contribute here and there to content or providing support. As to Caphori or Aceon that may be something to look into in the coming future.

Well me joining discussion on this thread is like a ghost rising from it's grave, I have got directed to this thread realizing the potential rebirth of SRP. Not one person in this thread can agree to playing the same content and that is a fact, if SRP was to ever be successful in a rebirth it would have to be overhauled with new content and a new storyline LIKE IT WAS DISCUSSED BEFORE. I left SRP and HGN because it was turning itself into a sinking ship and honestly it was sad just being a part of it, it became something nobody wanted to play anymore and became a chore instead of entertainment and I mean come the fuck on I remember the frequent times of sitting on my own in the server waiting for one single person to join to make the slightest interaction with and when you are trying to get other members to play they have other interests. What I am trying to make out in this mess of a paragraph is this revival can only go two ways, into a permanent grave or a successive restortation. But who am I to enforce this opinion on anybody, maybe I am completely wrong to why it failed but this is how I felt about the situtation and I honestly I cannot wait for this decision because if you can all get together to make new content again for the server then you will have be playing again that's for sure..

I think HGN needs to focus on new and other game modes, SRP was the staple of the community but now there's bigger fish out there whether you choose to accept that or not. A TS3 server and a website is pretty nice tho.
