Bleach is...

Just...
Just terrible.

I would have to disagree with you there its better than naruto and all those BS anime.

Saying HIV is better than AIDS is comparable to what you just said.

I remember there being a girl in my advanced video production class that would non-stop talk about Anime, and Love Hina was the most common anime title that came out of her mouth. I have very little hope in Love Hina after watching the Intro Sequence.

Doom and Portkins are now freinds.

My first anime was Naruto. I started watching it a few months ago, and I had no idea what to expect. From what I heard, it seemed like you either loved it or hated it, but most of the people who said it was gay (among other things) seemed to be the elitist type. Personally, I think it's awesome but I'll only watched the dubbed version of regular Naruto and Shippuden.

RanmaChan

Naruto, Inuyasha, and Bleach, are all examples of what I like to call "Americanized" anime, where there is little to no plot, transparent characters, and awful storytelling, with tons of filler.

Of course, all of these are in varying degrees in those I listed above.

Also, watching anime in Japanese with subs = actual anime fan.
Watching anime with your language crudely dubbed over = failure.

Bad cartoons are still bad cartoons.

Das_Uberman

I'd have to say the first anime I saw was Naruto, typical I know, but the first I really got into was Death Note, that or Vampire Knights, but I'm pretty sure it was Death Note.

Ralazo

I've watched uh. No anime?

That is a shame man, you really should try a few.  What is your favorite kind of genre?

Ralazo

Well, I watched one.
Pokemon. When I was like 5/6 years old it was on the TV here.

RanmaChan

Lol, that doesn't quite count Ralazo. xD
But really, what kind of TV shows or movies do you like to watch, maybe I can find an anime that is right for you!  ;)

Bump.

Smirnoff

Tecnically, my first anime would be pokemon, and later on the living castle.

The first anime I watched when I actually knew what anime was.. Angel Beats.
See if you can recognise someone/something out of that video.. ;)

Mr. Pink

Mobile Suit Gundam, the original. And if you don't wanna count that then Neon Genesis Evangeliong, which is still my favorite to this day.
I wish for a pinball machine full of Cannabis.
