Highschool of the Dead is set in the present day, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies, euphemistically referred to by the main characters as "them". The story follows Takashi Komuro, a Japanese student at Fujimi High School who survived the initial outbreak along with several of his classmates and the school nurse, and occasionally jumps to the perspective of other characters.
The plot is initially concerned with the cast's physical survival and escape from the titular high school and zombies, but as the series proceeds it introduces the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors and the possible decay of the characters' own moral codes.
The March 2010 issue of Monthly Dragon Age announced that an anime television adaptation of Highschool of the Dead had been green-lighted.[4] Produced by Madhouse under the directorship of Tetsuro Araki, the series began airing on the Japanese network AT-X on July 5, 2010 and rebroadcast days later on seven other Japanese networks. The series is also being simultaneously streamed by Anime Network in North America[5] and Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand.[6] Sentai Filmworks will distribute an English language version of the series in North America[7] while Madman Entertainment will distribute the series in Australia and New Zealand.[8]
The series opening theme song is "HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD" by Kishida Kyōdan and The Akeboshi Rockets.[9] The series closing theme songs will be different in each episode and each will be sung by Maon Kurosaki.[9]

Agreed. Towards the end of the currently available episodes it's just ass, titties, ass and tittes.
Reason as to why I read the manga instead. Yes, it still has bouncing titties and ass, yes it also shows it off. But it distracts you less, which is probably a good thing. The only thing I find unrealistic about this is that those breasts are way to fucking big.

Watched the first episode and I am intrested. I don't watch much anime. I only watched Samurai Champloo and alittle bit of Strike Witches 2. And I am a huge!HUGE!HUGE! Zombie Apocalpse Fan, and there are only like 1 or 2 zombie apocalypse tv shows that I know. And this is kind of cool.
